Dr. Lindsay Elise Ford, MD

i think dr. ford spent 2 minutes in the office with me. she couldn't have cared less about me or any complaints i might have had. don't know why she's there except for the paycheck.

Demeanor of wet paint that needs a nap. Barely competent. Goes through motions. Incredibly evident that she’s there for the check. Lazy staff. Pathetic. Insurance should stop payment. BEWARE.

She told me she wasn't trained or qualified to treat the same general condition that had been treated by other doctors in the same office for the past 6 years. She was also quite rude. Really did seem like she wanted to be there and the whole thing was a bother.

My Dr transferred away from the East Jefferson clinic and my records were transferred to Dr. Ford as her replacement. My first visit was the worst I have ever experienced. She was rude and insulting. I am 66 and have arthritis. I needed my medicine refilled - Celebrex - and Tramadol - She told me “I don’t do pain” and talked about opioid addiction ! Told me that I should only take Tylenol. She said she was not going to loose her license by prescribing this to me. In explaining my medical history I told her that my husband had died 3 1/2 years ago and since then I had lost 80 lbs. she replies - “you still have a way to go!” I have never been spoken to so rudely by a doctor. Said my bloodwork was good and handed me the paper. Nothing was out of normal range. Nothing else. I of course will be looking for a new doctor!

Horrible doctor! Horrible bedside manor. Hates over weight people even though she is overweight. I went to her 3 times for a cold/flu, a sinus infection, and another time because I was having panic attacks. Every single visit I was told whatever problem I was having was because I was obese and needed to lose weight. Yes she blamed my sinus infection on my weight and when I demanded antibiotics she ignored my chart and sent a prescription for a medication I’m allergic to.

I made an appt. to see her. Very curt, rude, and basically acted like she could care less about me. Bedside manner little to none. Won't be back to her.

Dr. Ford does not care about old peoples' pain. Shows no compassion.

Doesn't like her job. Perfunctory exam, no eye contact, doesn't like questions. Cold fish

Dr. Ford is exceptional in her field. She listens, understands and works with you on issues. First doctor I have found in a long time that actually comprehends what I telling her. Always helpful and extremely intelligent. Her staff is great as well.

Dr. Ford should not be a doctor. Period. I had an appointment at 10:30 today to review extensive lab results taken 2 days ago (I suffer from Hashimoto’s) and her nurse called me at 8:05 to see if I could come in early. Unfortunately, I live on the Northshore now and had to take my daughter to camp for 9:30, so this was not an option. She said I would need to be rescheduled, which I will NOT be doing. Oddly enough, Walgreens texted me around 11 to say my thyroid medicine had been DOUBLED, but I had no idea why. Hence, I had to call Dr. Ford’s office to speak to Charlene, the office mgr, to find out what was going on. The rest is history, to make a LONG story short. Save your time and money. Find another doctor worthy of the white coat.
