I have been a patient of Dr. Hansen for almost ten years and I am so thankful that I found this excellent physician to deliver me general internal medicine care and to coordinate care with whatever specialists he thinks I need to see. Like my brother, a retired physician who has written a review of Dr. Hansen on this website, I have found that this doctor is extremely compassionate, an excellent communicator with his patient, and highly knowledgeable about all aspects of medicine. This week I saw Dr. Hansen for a rather simple medical problem and he handled me with the same attentiveness and empathy as he has handled me in the past when I have seen him for more complex medical problems. As always he acted unrushed and he never stints on the time he spends with me. And most importantly he thoroughly explained to me how we are going to handle my medical problem and the problem was handled with great ultimate success so far. You can't ask more of a physician than that he be empathetic,… listen carefully to your complaints, and coordinate the proper care of his patients. Dr. Hansen is remarkably successful in delivering excellence in each of these areas. Also, his office staff are highly efficient and a true credit to Dr. Hansen. His staff people are very courteous and readily provide timely appointments to the patients with very little wait time before being brought into the examination room.

I am a retired Florida physician (urologist) who has been a patient of Dr. Hansen's Internal Medicine practice for the past five and one-half years and I consider Dr. Hansen a doctor's doctor. I consider myself lucky to have found such an attentive, compassionate, and clinically knowledgeable physician. His interpersonal skills are second to none and he combines his unbeatable bedside manner with superb diagnostic and therapeutic skills. The breadth of medical knwledge today is almost impossible to keep up with but more than any other physician I have ever known Dr. Hansen's depth of knowledge is extensive and very impressive. He is very easy to converse with, gives extensively of his time to answer patient queries, and is always available to his patients. Dr. Hansen's staff is remarkable, being not only highly competent but also very friendly. They deliver patient care with a smile. They put patients at ease. I have absolutely never had a problem getting a prompt appointment… when I truly felt I needed to be seen almost immediately and I know this has nothing to due with my being a former physician for my own brother, who is not a physician, also has found it easy to obtain a prompt appointment when he felt the situation was an emergency. Another plus is that there is very little time spent in the waiting room prior to being brought into the exam room. I could not ask any more of a physician than that he deliver the kind of high quality compassionate care such as that delivered by Dr. Lindsay Hansen.

I thought I had the best doctor from Cedars Sinai until I met this one and he's the best of all. Bright and kind and found things wrong with me no other doctor had and diagnosed wrong before. And they kept me well. This doctor I'll be with forever no matter where I live in Nevada or California or both. He's caring and nothing is a challenge for he seeks perfection and will stop at nothing to achieve it. He spends time with you and most of all, he truly cares about all his patients. We care about him and are blessed to have him. AND DID I TELL YOU THAT HE CALLS US, HIS PATIENTS, TO CHECK ON US NO MATTER WHAT TIME OR DAY OF THE WEEK TO SEE WE ARE WELL AND MAKE SURE WE ARE NOT SCARED OR IN PAIN AND NEED HIS HELP. Beat that one
