Dr. Lindsey Cassini Cox, MD

I work with Lindsey. I do anesthesia for her patients but I didn’t tell her my husband would be a patient of hers. I hadn’t yet changed my name so she would not have associated me with him. I thought it would be best to avoid favoritism or special treatment. Ha. What an eye opener. Not only did she never show her face or do an assessment of my husband herself, she allowed her resident and then fellow to manage the entire visit and procedure. Not once, but three times. She never went over the CT scan with him, never even MET him. I know, I was with him. I’m so appalled by this woman and I would never recommend her to someone I love ever again. She didn’t even properly address or manage my husband’s condition. Honestly a disgrace to the medical community.

Hands down my FAVORITE DR! Dr. Cox saved me when no one else would! She healed me physically and emotionally! When other Dr’s wanted to “wait” before attempting to fix me, she said absolutely not this woman is a mother of 3 and they need their mama back! She went to work and fixed me and back to my babies I went! Dr. Cox has been on my journey for 7 years now and there is no other urologist I would want to see. Thank you for EVERYTHING you’ve always done for me! Thank you for stepping in and healing my spirit and giving me normalcy again. ??

I consulted with Dr. Cox for a hysterectomy. She presented various options, explained each thoroughly and answered all my questions. She was responsive to my post-op messages while I recovered. During my post-op check-ups, she gave me all the time I needed to discuss various issues; I appreciated her conservative approach to a post-op condition that was common after the surgery. Her administrative assistant is excellent at his job, he's an asset to her practice.

We recently moved to the area and I took my 28 year old daughter with autism to see her. She is on medication prescribed by her past urologist. Dr Cox was completely dismissive, and had an elitist attitude. Waste of time, money, and most importantly my daughter's health care concerns were not addressed.

Dr, Cox was the worse experience I've ever encountered .She acts like a condescending person making suggestions that were ridiculous and ignorant...SHE THINKS SHE IS something that SHE so definitely IS NOT AND NEVER WILL BE .....GET SOME MANNERS AND KNOWLEDGE..YOU WERE THE BIGGEST WASTE OF MY VALUABLE TIME ..WHAT a huge disappointment...I could have been the same way to her as she acted towards me but It wasn't worth my energy I just wanted to leave away from a person like that ..She is not a good choice .

I was thoroughly disappointed in Dr. Cox. I saw her for a kidney stone that had to be surgically removed. She never visited me in pre-op prior to my surgery and never spoke with my husband after surgery. During my post visit, she was very dismissive of all my questions. She said the reason my husband didn’t think she had spoken with him was because she was a woman and people assumed if it was a woman then it was a nurse. He did receive a call from a nurse and I was in the bed beside her when she called to let him know that I was awake and doing fine. That was the only phone call he received. At the post op visit, I waited 2 hours to see her in the exam room….she had forgotten about me. I would never recommend this doctor to anyone.

I had several issues I went to see this doctor for and honestly, I don’t feel like my questions were answered. I feel that the appointment was rather rushed, and she came off as rather condescending when I asked more about her opinion or what she was saying. A little dismissive. I don’t really think she knew what my chronic condition was and said it was a matter of “bad luck”. She also discussed anxiety with pain and I feel like I was treated like I have a psychological issue when I have a cyst causing pain. I would not recommend.

Had a UA that showed WBC and nitrites at my follow up appointment. When I asked about it she said, “that’s ok, don’t worry about it”. Before I could get back home my temperature was over 101 degrees I was having terrible pain. I had confidence she would help me but she let me down. I’m still dealing with the infection and pain.

I would definitely not recommend this doctor. She seemed dismissive and didn’t really listen. She suggested a procedure for symptoms I didn’t even have.

I have been seeing Dr. Cox for over 6 months, and have had to see urologists for most of my life to manage recurrent UTIs. Dr. Cox has a very dismissive attitude toward my health concerns, and I have had to go weeks with symtoms of a UTI because she will not answer calls or respond to emails. When I finally went in for an appt to get an antibiotic, she lost my sample instead of sending it to the lab and I still could not get treatment. Please, choose another doctor!
