Lindsey Jeong Hee Kershaw

I had a very positive experience with Ms. Kershaw when she was with University Hospitals. I discovered so much about myself & tools I could use to overcome obstacles. She invited me to look at life differently & it has made a positive impact on my life ever sincr. Her work with UH was temporary & I have never been able to find another therapist that has helped me as much as she has. That was roughly 3 years ago & I am in a much better place because of our time together. I will forever be grateful for Lindsey Kershaw.

She doesn’t listen and thinks she knows more than anyone else. I would never recommend her if you want someone to listen to you and not at you.

If I could give zero stars, I would. She did not listen to me. She rushed ne through my answers. She dismissed my trauma, and told me it was not important. I explained my therapist wanted me tested for DHD and Ms. Kershaw told me that it is impossible to diagnose ADHD in anyone that has anxiety and that I must first treat my anxiety before we can consider ADHD. This is after explaining that I have been on EVERY anti-depressant and anxiety med there is and various combinations with zero relief from them for my anxiety, depression, and other symptoms that led my therapist to believe I have ADHD. I literally sobbed through my entire appt because I am in so much pain and suffering. My life was literally on the line. She asked me how consistent am I in taking medications, I told her it was something I struggle with. I often forget. Even with reminders in my phone. She then proceeds to tell me that she is putting me on a medication that requires me to not miss doses or I could develop a life… threatening rash to treat my anxiety. I left feeling unheard and hopeless. I left scared that I'd never receive a real diagnosis and treatment and that I was doomed to feel this way forever or until I took my life. My therapist encouraged me to speak to my primary care (in the same group as Ms. Kershaw). I did. Buth therapist and my Dr assured Ms Kershaw was wrong about ADHD and anxiety. PCP sent me to a psychologist, who is wonderful and listened and spent more than two hours just taking my history, scheduling additional apps to do so, and gave me an ADHD assessment thus past week. He also assured me that Kershaw was wrong. I tested as have ADHD, Combined type, severe. Which, byw, is WHY I have anxiety and the cause of my anxiety. My anxiety cannot be treated unless my ADHD is treated first. If I had taken Kershaw for her word, it very likely would have cost me my life. She is going to get people killed. She should find a new job.
