Dr. Lindsey Lee Kummerer

My experience with the Dr. Kummerer was very disappointing. Before my appointment, I specifically asked twice whether my insurance had been verified and what my exact cost would be. I was told both times that I would owe only my $40 copay. After the visit, I learned the clinic had billed my insurance using diagnostic procedure codes instead of an office-visit code, which led to a much higher bill and an unexpected balance I was never informed about. Attempts to get clarification were frustrating—emails were unanswered, and when the clinic finally called me, the staff member was argumentative, talked over me, and blamed the insurance company instead of addressing the clear discrepancy. This experience left me feeling misled and poorly treated. Patients deserve accurate cost information and professional communication, and I did not receive either here.
