Dr Lindsey Wester

Lindsey was born in raised in a rural town in Orange County, New York. She studied for six years at Ithaca College where she completed a bachelor's degree in Clinical Health Sciences, a double minor in Nutrition and Health Policy, and ultimately her Doctorate of Physical Therapy. While on her clinical rotations, Lindsey gained experience in the ICU and worked in a variety of outpatient orthopedic and sports based clinics where she treated an array of musculoskeletal, neurological and vestibular conditions. Lindsey chose physical therapy as a profession because of her background in sports and interest in helping others achieve their fitness and wellness goals. She believes in a patient-specific approach that combines manual techniques with therapeutic exercise while simultaneously educating her patients. Lindsey’s approach is focused on facilitating a quick recovery while helping her patients reach their maximum level of function to prevent re-injury. Outside of working at Recovery, …Lindsey enjoys exercising, exploring the variety of restaurants in Manhattan, and spending time with her friends and family.
