I had a colonoscopy scheduled for 9:30 and the procedure did not start until 11:15! After waiting for almost an hour in the pre-op room with no explanation on the delay, I was finally told the procedure before mine was taking longer than expected. My belief is that Dr. Rachel schedules too many procedures in one day, with not enough time allocated between each one. One of the nurses even hinted that this was the case. If you schedule a colonoscopy with him, be prepared for a possibly long wait!

Staff are most pleasant. He is now practicing in Fredericksburg, Texas. Not sure about accurate diagnosis. Still undergoing tests. Can be abrupt at times but generally helpful.

He never paid enough time with me (5-10 minutes total over 2 appt.) Didn't give me any information about my tests and wanted to put me under general anesthesia for a procedure that he couldn't explain to me why he wanted me to do it. Gave me a prescription for a drug that could have been substituted however I received a $151.72 prescription, after insurance. I will never be this doctors patient again. (The staff in the office however are doing their job, and I'm sorry I won't be contributing to their paychecks anymore.)

I had an awful experience with Dr. Rachal. He was very rude to me and was unprofessional! I will never recommend his "services" to anyone!

Just heard Dr. Rachal is returning to Houston and he was my doctor here and I wanted to know when he will return. Thanks.

Excellent doctor who put my mind at ease and really listened and was there if needed on call. Not too many drs like Dr. Rachal.
