Dr. Ling Xu, MD

My husband and I were treated so rudely. Worst experience we ever encountered. My husband was not feeling well so we went out of the room to look for somebody. Then, Dr Xu yelled at us and told us to go to ER not bothering to ask what's going on. Then she yelled again and said "Go back to your room this is a clinic". We fired her. No compassion at all. She appeared in a hurry and no bedside manner. She also circled her pointer finger around her head ( non verbal gesture meaning crazy) after yelling at us. Don't waste your time, energy and money. Every person deserves to be treated and respected.

Dr. Xu may be competent in some areas of neurology, however she lacks knowledge about headaches. She was only concerned with the lack of MRI copies and literally asked me nothing about my headaches. I switched doctors and I am about to have a lumbar puncture and an MRI. Apparently Dr. Xu's lack of asking any questions or examining me missed a few important findings.

I was promptly put in a room 2 minutes after i got to the office but then she left me waiting in the room for almost an hour while she was right outside the door reading something on the computer. The entire appointment was only about 5 minutes and without tests or even touching me she decided that all previous diagnosis by other neurologists were incorrect, told me she didnt believe I had been previously diagnoses with anything and until she saw something in writing from my previous neurologists that she wouldnt believe me. The office was so confused that one of the nurses or medical assistants even called me while i was still in the appointment to have me sign something. Theres no cell reception and they didnt realize i was still there until after i left and the message finally came thru. Then I had to go back to the office which was quite a distance to sign the form that i could have signed while i was there. Ill be changing doctors

I like this doctor a lot! pretty thorough too - but speedy. I would to see her slow the pace just long enough so that I can get complete answers to my questions.

I found Dr. Xu to be very personable and caring. Her exam was very complete and she seemed to be truly concerned about my issues (severe headaches).

Total lack of empathy. Also kept me waiting for an hour
