She was very rude and unprofessional, and was not interested in listening to the patient's concerns, I would not recommend this doctor.

I have been with the doctor for over 15 years. She provided great care of me and other members of my family. She is easy to talk to and responded my call quickly. I got remind for each time appoint. Though I need wait a bit at waiting room some time, but usually not that long. That's a sign that many patients like her office.

I have always found Dr Gu to be caring about my medical conditions. She demonstrated how she is willing to get personally involved with her patient's conditions. I received a phone call from her at 10:45pm on night during my 8 week stay in St Peters. She was at home, thinking about my condition at that time and had to call to share some of her ideas on what may have been causing my health issues. I found the after hours call something you just do not get from a standard physician. I do not think I have ever waited more than 5 minutes to see her and most of the time, she will take me in early. She is a good person and a physician I would highly recommend.

Dr ling ping Gu is not professional at all. Have very bad phone manner. Talking to u very rudely. And care more about money than anything else. She wanted me to visit her just for a referral, so she can collect copayment and insurance while I have been to her office not long ago.

This office was more than rude when we called to obtain medical clearance on behalf of a mutual patient. The doctor herself was the one on the phone who hung up on my receptionist not once but twice! She told us she would not provide us with medical clearance until she saw the patient. The patient kindly obliged and went for a visit. Dr. Gu had the audasity to tell us she would not provide us with the medical clearance as promised because the patient has an outstanding bill. Seriously Dr. Gu? This is how you and your office operates? Completely unacceptable. If you have a problem with your billing system after 19 years of practicing maybe you still have some things to learn. Denying us medical clearance for a patient to be treated is unethical. Because of this not only does the patient have to suffer but now your reputation will too. :-)

Great doctor that provides detailed diagnoses, explanation of treatment and care of your feelings.

My husband was recently unfortunate to meet Dr. Gu. Granted she arrived early on a Sunday afternoon, but that was the only quality thing she did. She did not perform an exam, only reviewed paperwork, ordered a test and admitted him. She told us she would review the tests and be right back. However, the ER doctors, never knew she ordered the test and said she had signed out and left the hospital. Today, she came back to follow-up and lied (again), she insisted she never told us she would be back after reviewing the tests to explain what was happening and that the tests were never read. When my husband refused treatment by her, she whined to the nursing staff that he was unhappy. The insurance company will be certainly hear about this and my recommendation that her fee be cut. I will also be contacting the medical board and the Physician referral at the hospital.
