I visited Dr. Gonalez’ office on a Thursday because of continuing abdominal pain I had been having for four weeks. Initially I believed I had strained a muscle during exercise. Inasmuch as it didn’t go away, I scheduled an appointment for the doctor. Being aware that my symptoms could have indicated a number of possible areas of concern, it made sense to have an X-ray which she ordered. It was late in the day and she did not meet with me. I called the next day and received no callback. At approximately 2 AM Sunday I was awakened by sharp stabbing pains in that same area lasting for several hours. In the morning I called the offices asking for the results of the X-ray and advising of the attack. NO RESPONSE! I called again Tuesday and Wednesday. NO RESPONSE. I’m not sure if it is the doctor or the staff but I do know, with regard to my medical needs, I need someone to respond!

I don’t know if all NCH Family Doctors are the same or it’s just this doctor, but I truly can’t recommend Dr. Gonzalez Rodriguez as she is too booked to see her patients that has had emergencies. I’m expecting to see a doctor 2-3 days Max after an ER visit, not 2 weeks after. This is in humane and by all means unacceptable.

If I could award Dr. Gonzalez "6 Stars", she would earn it! She is Competent, CARING, and Charming! I have been with her practice for over a year now, and she is the "Real Deal"! I have had MANY family physicians over my long life; she's the best!

Dr. Gonzalez is a very caring doctor who takes time with her patients. She herself has called me twice to give me results of lab tests rather than have a staff member call. I am very pleased with her care.

Dr. Gonzalez has been treating me for about 1 year. She is knowledgeable in a number of specific disciplines beyond what one might expect a family doctor to know. But more than that, she is very caring, a good listener, and asked the right questions to elicit the answer that will direct her to a course of treatment. I recommend Dr. Gonzalez to whomever will listen, when the subject of health care comes up!
