I was referred to Dr. bed 10 years ago for cancer on my uterine lining. I had never had surgery before being with her. Right before the surgery I had a major panic attack. Who kind and compassionate way called me down until they could knock me out. She checked at me before and after the surgery. She answered all of my questions. I have never met a doctor like her. She’s the best!

Dr. Lisa Abaid is terrific! My surgery was 5 years ago. I should have written something way back then. Nevertheless, here I am to tell you that she is absolutely the best ever! I was so nervous when I got the cancer diagnosis yet, with her, she made me feel comfortable and at ease. I knew I was in the best hands that I could possibly be in. I knew exactly what was going on at every turn during my 5 years. After surgery, I never felt any pain whatsoever. My follow-up appointments with her are such a pleasure. She's friendly, personable, and 100% there for her patients. I hope I get to continue seeing her now that I've reached my 5 year remission. So any of you who get the pleasure of having her as your doctor, count your lucky stars. She's the best!!!

Incredible Doctor very compassionate

Dr. Abaid was awesome thru my entire procedure. I was nervouse, scared and had a lot of unanswered questions. When I met Dr. Abaid all of that went away. She took the time to go over everything with me and was very detailed about my entire procedure. I have battled fibroid cycst's for years. I have had them removed twice within the last 10 years and no I know I can start to live a pelvic pain free life. Dr. Abaid is an awesome surgeon and her staff was always friendly and Hoag Hospital was nice and clean and very caring Nurses and staff. If you are struggling with fibroids or anything that has to do with the wonderful life of being a female, than I highly suggest you go and meet Dr. Abaid and you will not feel alone thru anything!!

I had a hysterectomy two years ago I had robotics hysterectomy I had a fast recovery my stomach muscles where sore for less then two weeks I took Tylenol for the pain I only had it for three days I had three scars one on my belly button & two one my stomach the two scars on my stomach I don't see them anymore I still have the scar on my belly button but it reminds me how lucky I was to been sent to such a great doctor that the cancer was found early she explained everything to me I knew I was in great hands anyone who needs surgery she is the best choice I recommend her highly

Great bedside manner, caring, I wish there were more doctors like her. I had a robotic surgery and went home the same day, and was back at work in 2 weeks, amazing.

I've been under the care of Dr. Abaid for about 18 months and I couldn't have asked for a more caring and professional doctor. I had a complete hysterectomy using robotics at Hoag hospital. I went home the next morning with very little discomfort. I only took advil for the sourness. I was amazed that I could function so quickly. Her precise hands, skill and gentleness must be the reason I had so little pain. I believe this, coupled with the robot, is why my recovery time was so short and painless. There were times that I would forget that I even had surgery. I know so many friends that have had this surgery the traditional way, that suffer for months with sourness, pain and adhesions. I had none of this. I'm so glad I was referred to Dr. Abaid.

It's been year since my hysterectomy and I couldn't ask for a better outcome. It was done with robotics and Dr. Abaid really must have a great technique. I went home the next morning with 4 little holes and a sore belly, no more than what you get after doing too many sit-ups. Just a few sore muscles. A couple of days of Advil and I was great. Dr. Abaid never rushes you, answers all your questions and a very sweet lady. She is very thorough, skilled, helpful, kind and gentle.
