They dont send your script tonthe pharmacy untill you get on them about it. Doesn't take serious concerns seriously. And staff is very rude and dont care about their jobs. Also get information about you illegally to send you a letter when they dont like your review....

I will probably get calls more nasty letters. But an honest review must be told. Forgetting the fact she cancels appointments due to deliver babies ( which my primary thought she no longer did) her office staff is very rude and dont listen. If you have an appointment rescheduled you have to harass the staff to get your birth control called into the pharmacy. When you ask for a manager its some dumb excuse, like they are busy and they will have to call. But never do they call. IF you have a serious concern she will tell you " you just need more sleep" and brush you off. Everything with this doctor is a fight. They use illigal means to find who wrote a review so they can send letters when they dont like your review. Even though it is very true. You will have a hard time getting your birth control. So stock up on your back up method and extra feminine products if you go here. You will need it.

Dr Allen is very compassionate and an excellent doctor.

I have never been so disrespected by a doctor in all my life. She is arrogant, rude and insensitive. Plain and simple she is a hazard to patients. I would NOT recommend her EVER. Please research doctors before you waste time and money!!

Based on reviews and Lisa Allen accepting our insurance, my wife and I were confident in our choice. However, after the 2nd visit, the wait times got longer, sometimes over an hour. Lisa was very friendly at first, but at the last visit we were there, my wife inquired about leg cramps.....Lisa asked if she was eating bananas, when my wife replied several each day, Lisa's response was: "well I guess you are screwed then....." We were shocked! However, the biggest reason we chose another doctor was the office staff. We live 50 minutes from Lisa's office, and the office staff did not schedule an ultrasound for the day we had an appointment. Then, they attempted to schedule it closer to our house, which was nice, however, they told my wife our insurance would be accepted because of the referral, it was not. Then, we got scheduled again, I took off work early only to have the hospital call and say they didn't have the correct paperwork and they had been trying to call Lisa's… office for almost a whole day with no response! My wife tried to call, no luck. I finally had to go to Lisa's office on the way home from work to get the paperwork last minute and we barely made the ultrasound appointment! This brings me to the biggest reason to avoid this doctor at all costs........THEY DO NOT EVER ANSWER THE PHONE!!!! You have to leave a message and flip a coin if they will call you back. On top of this, after we changed doctors, Lisa's office refuses to transfer the records, so now we have to pay HIPAA to get them.This is the most unprofessional health care provider that my wife or I have ever dealt with. Being our first child, its stressful enough.....I am glad that Lisa is not delivering her.........we would had to leave a message when she goes into labor.......no lie, again, its their policy, they do not answer the phone....

Dr. Allen has been a wonderful OBGYN to me in each of my 3 pregnancies & I look forward to having her deliver my 4th this winter. Molly, the midwife, is super good too. Once you are an established patient, you alternate visits with the dr and midwife, same place. It's wonderful because it's like getting an ob and a midwife. NO BETTER OB IN LAPEER COUNTY THAN DR. LISA ALLEN!!
