Dr. Lisa Davis Ball, DO

Went to this doctor for the first time and would be surprised if I was in there for even 10 minutes. She probably spent most of that time trying to talk me into getting a flu shot that I told her I didn’t want. She didn’t ask me a single question—not even about my health. She didn’t seem interested at all. Finally, she wanted me to go for a mammogram. I explained my concern about the radiation on my brain tumor. So she wrote an order for a 3-D mammogram, which it turns out has more radiation than the regular 2-D, I learned my lesson. I will not be going back.

I went with three problems including neck pain that HURTS!!! She didn't deal with this at all. Don't think she even looked at Xrays provided. Furthermore, made clear on form and verbally to call prescript to Publix, which delivers, instead called CVS where I lived years ago! Why?? Who made that call?? Why is someone going into OLD records??? So now I have to go to new DR to deal with what Ball did not! STAY AWAY FROM THIS DOCTOR!!

Office staff are extremely rude. Treating patients like cattle and that they are an inconvenience to their day. Being in healthcare you would think staff would be caring and considerate knowing they are dealing with patients who are there to be seen for a potential problem. Would not suggest this practice and will change Doctors simply because of the office staff. I pay an extreme amount for Dr Balls services and do not expect to be treated this poorly.

Really like this doctor. Thorough, warm, listens well . Unfortunately her staff do not (listen) and trying to communicate when you're not in the office is a nightmare. Staff frequently mess up messages and getting a response is semi impossible. Also seemingly impossible is getting in to see Dr Ball when you are actually sick.

I have been a patient of Dr. Lisa Ball's for the last 4 years and I think she is one of the best family practice doctors in the Tampa Bay area. I liked her so much that I had my husband see her and he also believes she is wonderful. The best thing about Dr. Ball is that she listens. Not just a "ya ya ya" listen, but she really listens and lets you help in the treatment of your illness. I will recommend Dr. Ball to all that ask me.......
