Dr. Blake earned her Bachelor of Science degree with emphasis on genetics from Kennesaw State University . She received her medical degree from Mercer University School of Medicine in Macon. Her medical residency and internship was completed at Mercer University through The Medical Center of Central Georgia, in Macon. She is a board certified fellow of the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. She has been practicing obstetrics and gynecology at Northwest Georgia Medical Clinic since 2006. Dr. Blake was born in Green Bay, Wisconsin and moved to Georgia in 1982. She and her husband, Michael Taylor, have three children: Lawson, Emily, and Wilson.

I am very surprised that my mom a patient of Dr. Blake for many years received such a poor care yesterday. My mom has new onset had constant suprapubic abdominal pain for 14 days impending her functional ability. Without any lab work or imaging she was referred to a specialist who has a four month wait. As a provider myself an additional work-up should not have had to be asked for it was warranted. After we resolve this issue, we will be looking at other resources and providers in the area.

Dr. Blake is one of the most amazing doctors I have met. she puts her clients at ease and has an excellent bedside manor. She is an extremely hard working professional.

She is wonderful!!! So caring, sweet, and smart. She makes you feel incredibly comfortable. Going to the GYN isn't anyones's favorite place but she makes you feel so relaxed you don't mind coming. Her nurse Brittany is wonderful as well very sweet, smart, and shows a lot of compassion as well. The only complaint I ever have is I think the front staff could be a little more professional. But other than that I always have a wonderful experience there at NWGA.

Dr. Blake is extremely thorough and attentive in her exams and diagnosis. She takes time with the patient and is understanding. As a fibromyalgia sufferer, I really appreciated her willingness to work with me.
