Dr. Lisa N Boggio, MD

I am a huge fan of Dr Boggio. I’ve been her patient for many years and trust her implicitly. She spends quality time with me each visit and is highly responsive via email between visits. I have a rare autoimmune disorder and she is always on top of the latest findings and research. Highly recommend her.

My daughter has multiple issues going on and she is addressing hem all with two other specialists to try and resolve all her issues . She is very personable and explains things very well!

Dr. Boggio is knowledgeable and personable. She determined a previous doctor had overlooked a follow up test after my husband's initial treatment for a DVT and PE. She ordered the test and was able to take him off warfarin after 3 yrs instead of the 3-6 mths it was probably needed. Such great news...thank you! She also was able to clear up the diagnosis characterization as an acquired syndrome and not a genetic syndrome as we were told. The difference - one can/will resolve, the other is a concern for life. 5 yrs later my husband was seen by cardiology and was told the IVC filter that was still in place needed to be removed. A CT showed the IVC was intact and stable but now had a blood clot on top of it. He again needed a hematologist and we chose Dr. Boggio. He again need anti-coagulation therapy and Dr. Boggio ordered Eliquis. At this time he is under her care with the hopeful outcome of getting the filter removed. Again, we found Dr. Boggio to be knowledgable about the… condition and presented a treatment plan. She patiently addressed our questions and concerns to our satisfaction. Finally, while knowledgeable and serious about the issues, she is compassionate, patient and humorous. We leave feeling comfortable that we're prepared and on the right track. We both would highly recommend Dr. Boggio
