Dr. Lisa Bootstaylor, MD

Dr. Lisa was very personable and has a great eye for what is needed. I had consultations with other doctors who just didn't get what I was trying to explain to them. She knew exactly what I was concerned about by looking at my photos and said what was needed before I even mentioned it. I am very happy that I went to her. She really is a great doctor.

I had a breast augmentation and tummy tuck performed in 2009 and after all this time, It still looks good, she was friendly, empathetic and did a fabulous job..I could not be more happier with the results. Thank you Lisa,, Linda May-Smith

Questionable business practice and service

Do not walk. RUN. This place is a complete scam. If you are looking to get any type of plastic surgery done with Dr. Bootstaylor, I would reconsider fast. I met with Dr. Bootstaylor last year for a consultation. No procedures were done, no medicine was given, no treatments whatsoever. This was a simple consultation to discuss the possibility of getting a procedure done in the future. Keep in mind this consultation lasted less than an hour and all we did was discuss some of the questions I had about the procedure. 10 months later I receive a bill in the mail of $1,326.00… I figured this had to be a mistake… I frantically call and after discussing the matter back and forth, they came to an agreement that they would void the claim of $1,326.00 and that I would only owe a remaining balance of $75.00. (Keep in mind that they made me this offer as soon as I mentioned going online to write an HONEST REVIEW.) After we made this agreement over the phone, I was told that I would… receive a new bill & letter. Weeks went by and I heard nothing... So, two weeks ago I reached back out to Atlanta APC Plastic Surgery and they told me that they could no longer make the adjustment to $75.00 and that the only resolution was to pay the amount of $1,326.00. Shocked, I decided to go in the office and see what fine print I missed stating $1,500 fees for consultations. Nowhere did it state this absurd amount of money for a CONSULTATION, so I ask what any concerned client would ask. I asked for proof. They quickly told me that they CANNOT show me proof of the $1,500 fees they charge for their consultations because of “privacy reasons.” So, not only are they telling me that I HAVE to pay the amount of $1,326.00, but they also have no paperwork to validate that this is a legitimate price. Dr. Bootstaylor and her staff have continued to push back for weeks now and refuse to show me any type of proof or to help me come up with some sort of clarification for this dilemma. These people are vile and unprofessional. I am not sure how they are still in business but I am working hard to have a full investigation on this matter. I am writing this review today to warn you about Dr. Bootstaylor and what she is doing to her patients because I regrettably ignored the red flags. Look anywhere else but here! I can only say one word: FRAUD. Do not fall in the same trap as I did.

Hello, I don't believe in hurting people with my words, that's why I haven't made no comments regarding my surgery over the years. Please forgive me for taking so long to comment on my surgery. I'm doing this now, because I hope I can help someone to avoid the mental and emotional pain I have experienced. I had a breast reduction in 2000. Dr. Bootstaylor was very nice in the beginning, but then she was rude after I started to complain and my the dissatisfaction at that time. I ask her to please not cut my breast up and down due to the fact that I have Keloid skin. I wanted her to cut me across under my breast. She did the total opposite of what I ask her not to do. My breasts split open really bad, I called her office and told them about it, she had me to meet with her staff and not her, the staff didn't care at all about the emotional and physical pain I was experiencing at that time. My nipples are un even and I don't have feeling in my right breast, bad keloid scarring on both… breast, I thought it would get better over the years, but it's still the same after 16 years later. I regrets this with all of my heart!!!!! I went to her because my primary physician recommend her and I trusted her, but I found out later they were best friend. Whoever is reading this, please do your research and read the reviews, because the reviews help you make a right decisions. Just don't take the doctor's word and believe in them, until you know for sure! The most important lesson I've learned is; even though you may pray and consult God about your situation, don't just make a decision, because it feels goods and you think he said yes. Wait on him patiently, before you make a quick decision about your health and everything in life. This is a true lesson learned and still learning!!!!!! I wish I had written a review a long time ago, maybe I could have save someone from the pain I experience. Then again, everything happens for a reason. DO YOUR RESEARCH AND FOLLOW YOUR INNER SOUL< IT WON"T LEAD YOU WRONG!! PEACE!

It has been almost a year since my breast reduction and lift procedure with Dr. Bootstaylor and I prayed things would get better in time but no. I was too eager to have this procedure after having size H breast for years that I rushed choosing her with out reading her reviews. Prior to surgery my consultation was ok maybe a bit rushed. The staff was very kind and helpful and later honest. Now I asked many times would I be atleast a full C/D after my surgery and she said because my insurance was covering half of the cost she would have to remove the amount of cc required. Did my research, my insurance required 340 cc and she took 500 or more cc of fat from my breast. I was immediately upset with my results the next day after surgery. My chest was completely flat and I was told I would eventually fill out. I am now a small 32 B. I have a curvy shape and loved my body now I'm battling depression over a botched reduction with bad scarring, uneven, tiny breast that do not fit my figure. I… was later told by one of the staff members that dr. Bootstaylor was not experienced with breast reductions on someone my weight and frame. Most of her patients are larger size women who don't have such a drastic difference in looks/size when removing that much. I have talked to her about my dissatisfaction and her response was quite rude. My breast now lay flat and uneven as well as my uneven nipples which she blames on previous flaws as if she didn't receive full payment and didn't cut me open and have the ability to correct my "flaws" as she called them. Please do not make the same mistake I did and do your research and read reviews! I wish I never had the surgery in the first place and now I'm searching for a new surgeon to correct her work.

Had a wonderful experience with Dr. Lisa Bootstayler, she answered all of my questions and addressed my concerns before my procedure and after.

I got the tummy tuck and she did a wonderful job.I'm so happy I went to her.
