Dr. Lisa Jackson Broyles, MD

I am 72 years old and have many years of experience with primary care physicians. I have had some very good ones (who retired on me). Dr. Broyles is the single most attentive, non-rushed practitioner I have ever consulted. Well informed and intelligent. She is a keeper, and is young enough that there is little or no risk she will retire in my lifetime.

Dr. Broyles is my primary care doctor and I appreciate her focus on natural options in health care. She is not a pill pusher, like so many seem to be. It seems that her goal is to find solutions rather than to simply mask symptoms and send you home. The office staff have always been helpful and supportive and (dare I say?) charming! Dr. Lisa is also my 94 year old mothers doctor and everyone has been so sweet with Mom. I cannot say enough good things about this doctor or her office staff in Saluda Family Medicine.

I have spoken to this office about the issue and do not want to say more publicly. They can handle it themselves and choose to improve or not.

Dr Broyles did not spend time with me and I was given meds for the wrong diagnosis

I have been seen in this office several times over the past few years. Dr. Broyles is nice but doesn't seem to care that much and keeps you waiting in the waiting room and then again in the back. Her staff is among the worst I have seen. They have yet to send me my last lab reports and when I called they said their mail is slow.It has been months now! They have even filed my claim wrong and I am now having to figure that out myself. I will be looking for a new doctor and new office where I am a valued patient.

Dr. Lisa Broyles always gave me the very best care I cannot say enogh about her. When I needed help she was always available. I have been very sick for quite sometime and she helped me to be able to work at a time when I didn't think I would be able to, I love her !!!! She always always listens to what I needed never ever made me feel rushed it was like she had all the time available to help me that is so very important today so thank you Dr. Broyles I miss you!!!

This physician served as my octogenarian mother's "primary care" physician for approximately four years. The care she received was, in my opinion as her son and durable medical POA, minimal and cavalierly. I recently terminated her when, after just trying to find her to get some information, I dared to ask her from 4-5 feet outside her open-doored office if she had time to speak with me about my mother, whom she had just presumably examined. I was told in a near-scream, "WHO SAID YOU COULD COME BACK HERE? WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE? GET OUT OF MY OFFICE!!!" Naturally, I was absolutely stunned. I tried to explain to her that she had not reworked my mother's medication regime, which she was supposed to do since my mother's medications had been changed by the chief physician at a local rehab center. I received no response other than a screamed complaint that my mother had been late for her appointment (I don't believe she ever spent more than ten minutes with my mother). Once again, she… began shouting, "YOU GET OUT OF MY OFFICE! GET OUT OF HERE!!!" She then rose and came out of her office, continuing the repeated order to "GET OUT!!" I finally said, "I'll get out all right, but my mother is getting a new doctor." My mother had already become dissatisfied with the poor quality of what she was getting from Ms. Broyles and we had spoken of obtaining a new physician. This is just my opinion, based on my experience, but I advise thinking very carefully indeed and checking around before establishing a patient relationship with Ms. Broyles. I have been a licensed attorney in Tennessee for 25 years, and I have NEVER witnessed this kind of behavior from someone who is supposed to be a professional. In a word, beware.
