Dr Lisa M Bundy, MD

I saw Dr. Bundy in the emergency room. She was very kind and listened to all of my concerns. It genuinely seemed like she cared about my pain. We need more doctors like her. As for the bad complaint about her on this website, if you think smoking cigarettes is the worst thing going on in this world then you need to watch the news. Oh and it’s Dr. Bundy, not Mrs. Bundy. ??

Dr. Bundy was very thorough in her exam and the tests she ran. Great bedside manner..she makes you feel like your her only patient

There's no picture of the Dr. for positive identification, so I'll be assuming she is one in the same that "treated" my child at Baptist East Medical Center. I sincerely apologize if she is not. What was most memorable to me was the fact that, after seeing the P.A. who recommended a diagnosis confirmation from the Dr. and after that, over an hour wait in the ER, just for her to confirm.... this ragged looking person appeared in the room to examine my 5 year old. At first, I thought maybe she'd been there for a while...double shifts, just tired, etc. I wasn't even sure (by her attire) she was a Dr. Then she passed by me and absolutely reeked of cigarette smoke! So much so that I actually coughed amidst the stench. Before I could say anything, she had her hands (which I hope were clean) on my child. After the examination, she told us we could go. I then noticed the package of what looked like Virginia Slims sticking half way out of the pocket of the street jacket, she was wearing. I… asked Ms. Bundy if in fact she was a Dr...she replied, "Yes." I then told her she may want to do something about the cigarettes in her pocket. She chuckled and exited the room. I felt her appearance and offensive odor, were very unprofessional. Not to mention the second hand smoke my 5 yr. old was exposed to, as it followed Dr. Bundy around like a disgusting cloud. She then sent us home with instructions that weren't conclusive in her diagnosis. I didn't feel like we were treated professionally, except by her Physicians assistant. Ryan Sellers. One of the few professionals we encountered during our visit. IF it were not for him, we would've gone to another ER. Maybe it was an "off" night for Ms. Bundy, I don't know. All I do know is she smelled like a walking smoke factory, which wasn't conducive to trust, in touching my child, or an accurate diagnosis. Put the cigarettes down, Doctor! How Rude.

I'd like to thank Dr Bundy for her kindness, sincerity, and thoroughness. I've had countless experiences with bored, condescending, incompetent, or just plain ol' not-worth-their-salt doctors, but Dr Bundy managed to rekindle my hope in the modern medical profession. She listened to me patiently and treated me like a person. I met her in the Baptist East ER, and dearly wish she had a family practice. Based on my one experience with her, I found I trusted her and her judgement, which is a rare thing for me. Thank you, Dr Bundy.
