Dr. Lisa Bosarge Burch, MD

I had a new patient visit with Dr. Lisa Burch, to ask about my general health and to request DNA testing for a hereditary condition. Dr. Burch was fairly patient with my questions and answered them at least, however I do remember her not telling me the potential price of the DNA testing and blood work which I would have liked to know before officially asking to have those tests done. Overall, she has a good demeanor and seems knowledgeable; however I would have liked her to be more patient and answer all my questions thoroughly, especially to give at least a range of prices for tests/procedures before a patient accept them.

Dr. Lisa Burch is the most caring and understanding Doctor I have ever had, I trust her very much. She makes you feel very safe in her care. Thanks for all you do.

I have to see Dr. Burch for an ongoing problem, but I HATE going because the office staff is rude or indifferent. I ALWAYS wait 1 to 3 hours to be seen. ALWAYS. The office staff is slow to give service, and never goes out of their way to get work done. My prescriptions never get called in. I have to call and follow up with them, and then, they get annoyed with me calling constantly, but if I don't, there will not be a follow up. I am trying, actually, to find a similarly great doctor, with a better staff.

If Dr Burch had not been there for my husband, I truly believe he would not be alive today. After 3 hospitalizations, one in CCU, one NICU, and numerous trips to various doctors. She recognized specific problems in his blood. He has been diagnosed with Antiiphospholipid Antibody Syndrome (APS). Dr. Burch realized, along with his many medical problems, there was a serious problem with his blood. Our family will be forever grateful to Dr. Burch. If you or a member of your family needs an excellent doctor who will not give up on a diagnosis, you need Dr. Burch.

Extremely poor front office management. Always at least 45 minutes from time of appointment do I actually see the doctor. Like the doctor, HATE the practice.

Dr. Burch is worth the wait. She always listens, never rushes me and truly seems concerned.She never acts like i ask a silly question, and she answers everything.she gets her message across without ever talking down to you. I hope she stays in practice a long time.

worst customer service, Drs don't care waiting room full just trying to run them thru don't like calling in prescription or changes hard to deal with i waited 2.5 hour my last visit got my prescriptions wrong for my drug long term insurance to pay the most without costing me extra deductable

This practice is apalling. The administrative staff seem indifferent. Dr. Burch's nurse is rude and fails to follow-up. The waiting time even if you arrive early or on time is at minimum 2-3 hrs in the front area of the office and 30-45 minutes once in a patient room. There is little respect for patient privacy. Doors to examining rooms are left open while the nurse is obtaining initial information. Never has this practice managed to send results of tests to other physicians as requested. They do not coordinate well within the practice. It is unfortunate that the administration of this practice is so poor. They physicians seem to be good docs just poor managers.
