Dr. Lisa A Cagle, DDS

I came into this office as a new patient and they hadn't received my records from my previous dental office. I have enough experience with moving and working with good dentists to know what I should experience as a new patient. In this office, there was no hygienist or assistant to work with Dr. Cagle and she performed my cleaning herself. She poked a little bit at my fillings and let me know they were fine, but she did not use the scraper to remove excess plaque and did not remove anything from under my gum lines (including flossing). She only polished my teeth. There was no exam of the inner part of my mouth for anything unusual. She did not ask me about any changes in health or discomfort. She did not take any x-rays or do a thorough charting review of my mouth. And I didn't even get my usual advice on the importance of flossing. I was in and out of this cleaning in under 15 minutes. In the past, I have had hour long appointments and am aware that some places are trying to… move toward 30 minute appointments, but this was ridiculous. DO NOT GO TO THIS DENTIST!
