Dr. Lisa Jon Cardo, MD

She is up to date on current treatments and clinical trials, very knowledgeable. She has a demure demeanor but asks relevant questions. She has a good moral sense and in today's day and age that is important.Many people give up on cancer patients.

She is a nightmare to every patient, very unprofessional, very rude. I went to patient first to get an order for my biopsy. She seemed has no idea what is going on and started doing physical exam on me. I overheard the other doctors told her that I don't need a physical but an order. I also told her several times that all I need was an order for biopsy. while doing the physical, she was very sloppy, left trash on the bed and everywhere. At the end of the exam I almost cried because she just refused to give me the order. A nurse comforted me and told me that she would help me to get that order. Thanks to that nurse (sorry I forgot her name) I got the order for biopsy and had my biopsy done next week. The biopsy result is I had cancer. What a nightmare I had to go through.

Went to Patient First in Columbia for bloodwork due to another problem. I was given Cardo and put through some tests, not satisfactory to me, and they called it a physical. Cardo looked at the computer the whole time and shushed me when I tried to speak. She also insisted on me taking tests that I told her were taken care of by my other doctors. I was charged for this visit. I would not recommend Cardo and will request someone else if I go there and she is there.

Saw her for a very basic need.... she was rude and asked demeaning questions the entire time, she also claimed she knows everything that’s happened with previous visits but kept asking me questions about the visits and previous symptoms but still somehow managed to cut me off each time. I have never met a “doctor” so rude. She also didn’t even do a basic physical exam. If you are greeted by an old woman well over 60 and her name is Dr. Cardo, run.

If you're looking for a doctor with good bedside manner who shows empathy and concern towards patients, DO NOT go to Dr. Cardo.
