Very helpful and explains everything in detail, will not wait for you to hit rock bottom before treatment.

I had my first appointment with Dr. Defalco because I was having complications with my birth control pills, my usual Dr was out of town for several weeks and I really needed to be seen. Don't believe all the negative reviews about her; she was great! I tend to be really picky about these kinds of things due to the very personal nature of a usual gyn appt and Dr. Defalco was awesome! She took the time to talk with me and answered all my questions, and she had a very friendly demeanor about her. She was quick during the actual exam part, which I appreciated, and she called in my new prescription to my pharmacy like she said she would. She was nice, professional, & I will definitely go back to her again.

There are few worse feelings than going to your doctor for important information regarding your health, and receiving nothing but judgmental discouragement. I saw her out of necessity for a certain procedure, and she was nothing but rude and snippy for the entire (uncomfortable!)appointment. The only thing she accomplished was turning her nose up at me and making me feel badly about myself for absolutely no good reason. I had to call another doctor immediately after just to get the information needed. I will never see her again, and am actively looking for another physician in the area. Unless she "approves" of you as a person, you will not have a good experience.
