Dr. Lisa C Ellis, MD

I have been going to Dr. Ellis for about 20 years. She is always kind and thorough will her exams.

Dr. Ellis spent a LOT of time with me asking questions, suggesting possibilities, and ultimately doing relevant lab work. I highly recommend Dr. Ellis!

A few years ago, I saw her to resolve persistent skin lesions. She said I was causing them, sent me on my way. Since then, I've learned medicine, microbiology, pathology, mycobiology, the medical industry, and what makes doctors do what they do. I've also received a half-dozen referrals to an ID specialist, with a positive for blood fungus culture (angioinvasion - indicating much deeper systemic trouble). She refuses to acknowledge substantial evidence, receive an appointment, or treat until more lab work concludes. I can't even transfer to a different doctor within their system because of their questionable policy as "consultants". She, and other doctors with her demeanor, exhibit the same practice of disproof rather than progressive, empathetic treatment. Basically, if you don't have a billing code, in duplicate, that explicitly states exactly how she should treat you, or there's any question about your condition, find another doctor. Preferably not within the 38th St. clique. A… robot and AI algorithm would be a better option.

Dr Ellis was on call for another doctor and wouldn't even come check on me once. I was in the hospital at the time with a high fever for a week , with no diagnosis. The nurse who was very nice even talked to dr Ellis and said please come and check on her, and she refused. Terrible!!

I was referred to Dr. Ellis by my doctor in Houston when I relocated. I asked for the best in Austin, and I found her. She is kind and always professional. She welcomes questions and never makes me feel rushed. I have the utmost respect for her.

the worse dr. ever reckless careless has no bussiness in healthcare much less a dr. she is a joke.

I would never recommend Dr. Ellis to anyone. She charged $255 for about 10 min, never even touched me, the patient and told me my pain and documented infections didn't exist and was psychological. How would I fake blood work that's positive for infection? She also told me Lyme disesase, my infection, doesn't exist in Texas...yet here I am!!

Dr. Ellis told me to take up knitting and did no examination or blood work although I had a confirmed Lyme diagnosis and MRSA, two very very serious infections and Dr. Ellis told the meto just take up knitting and not to worry about either disease.
