Lisa Finch, FNP-BC

Lisa Finch started her nursing career at Greenville Technical College in Greenville, South Carolina where she obtained her Associates Degree in Nursing. Following graduation, she was an acute care dialysis nurse working for DaVita Dialysis at Prisma Greenville Memorial campus. She provided peritoneal and hemodialysis treatments, managing both chronic and emergent dialysis treatments in the hospital setting. Lisa then accepted a job for Prisma at their North Greenville LTAC campus where she expanded her knowledge and worked as both critical care and medical surgical nurse. Lisa’s eagerness to expand her skills led her to serve on the wound care team and spinal cord injury council, as well as being charge nurse and diabetic liaison. These opportunities allowed her to provide knowledge with compassion to her medically complex patients and allowed her to be a vital interdisciplinary member of each person’s care. While fulfilling these roles, Lisa also worked to further her education and …complete her master’s degree to become a Family Nurse Practitioner at Walden University in Minneapolis Minnesota. As a wife and mother of six children, two mentally disadvantaged, her personal and professional experiences has created a dedicated passion to help those in need. Lisa’s passion is working with the adult intellectually challenged population. From personal experience, she knows as they age, their cognitive abilities present multiple layers to their mental health which also affects their physical health. Her unique perspective as a parent and provider helps bridge a disparaging gap in care. In all that she does, Lisa feels honored to be in the position where she can continue to serve her community to the best of her abilities.
