Dr. Lisa Savage Florence, MD

Dr. Florence was my surgeon for my transplant in 1996. She was very skilled, attentive and accessible. She answered all my questions, and has even come in to say hi and chat when I've come into the office for my yearly check-up. My kidney has worked wonderfully since day one with no problems!! Love her!!

At time of transplant was 61 yrs. old... The transplant was a sucess... Yet i suffered from anemia weekness and after 5 yrs. i got a tumor on the kidney... Yet,the kidney transplant was a sucess.

My mom had a surgery with Dr. Florence. She was 2 hours late for the surgery due to a conference call. The surgery was not successful. A 2nd procedure performed by another doctor did not correct the problem, so now my mom requires another surgery with Dr. Florence to place a peritoneal catheter in my mom's abdomen. The doctor has repeatedly failed to return my mom's calls and was just told, at the scheduling of the latest surgery, that the doctor is "too busy" to talk to my mom. I believe she's trying to avoid having to answer questions about why the first surgery was not successful.
