Dr. Lisa Ann Golik, MD

My previous dr referred me to her.. worst thing happened! I never got an exam from her, and from just an ultrasound report- she wanted me to have surgery. That is totally uncalled for. I was fed up with her, and went to another dr and it turned out I didn't have to have surgery! So beware if you are a new patient.

I have been a devoted patient of hers for about 10 years. Every doctor I went to just kept telling me to lose weight since I was bleeding to death but she did all that she could for me. I had numerous cyst in my uterus. I had pcos and so many health issues. She took care of me and gave me answers and insight on what was going on. I am so thankful for all that she's done for me. I followed her to whichever insurance she accepted and to whatever hospital she operated or delivered at. Her medical assistant and back office assistant, Becky and M...(forgot her name suddenly) are awesome people. If she went to Fresno community hosp, i would switch my hospital there too eventhough I really don't prefer that hospital.

I am a patient of Dr Golik, and do not have any complaints. You can tell from the wording that most of the very negative reviews are the same person posting multiple times.

Just don't trust her one bit.

Just awful. Won't listen and help.

If you are a new patient to her. Don't bother getting an exam from her at all. She never did with me - TWICE. Never had a official meet and greet, never did an exam (just blood pressure while waiting), answer questions etc. All she did was give me samples, ultrasound and then pushed me into surgery with in a 3 weeks time. What kind of doctor is this???! Totally fed up I stopped going to her, and went to a more EXPERIENCED doctor than her who definitely knows what I need!

When I saw her for the first time 3 years ago, she never examined me at all! Just gave me samples, and got an ultrasound 2 weeks later. Came back a few days after, once again no exam...DID NOT answer my questions! So, by just going by an ultrasound she wanted to do surgery!! Uh, NO THANK YOU! I gave up on her, and went to a 2nd opinion; and by going over some tests I had prior; and they said I didn't need the surgery. And my 2nd opinion is way more experienced than this dr.. she was a waste of time to see and RUINED MY LIFE.

She absolutely destroyed my life. She never examined me at all when I saw her twice.. she pushed me to have an ultrasound and just by going by an ultrasound results, she wanted to do surgery! I was fed up, I went to a more experienced obgyn. I am so glad I don't see Dr. Golik anymore. Btw, her office is awful... wait time is forever, never call you to tell you she's running behind, close while you are on hold! Etc. Ugh.

I was very impressed with Dr. Golik. She took time to explain my problems. I would definitely recommend her to anyone.

Dr. Golik saw me in her Clovis office a couple of years ago. My first visit was not to good. The wait was very long and the Dr.seemed very preoccupied with other things. After a few visit I learned she was expecting, so I thought all the previous things were related to her pregnancy. Well I was scheduled for surgery and it turned out to be the worst thing in my life. First of all she cut me open then learned she couldn't do the procedure that way and I could've bled out. So she tried her best to go a different route. Well here it is 2years later and I've had more problems than I had before the surgery. After a couple of follow-ups during one of them she had her new born baby in the office and she seemed overwhelmed. I let her know the feeling that the surgery didn't help and all the problems I was having. A week later I received a letter in the mail saying she was know longer in practice. But I see she is working still.... Very dissatisfied with this Dr!!
