Dr. Lisa Ann Guthrie, DO

I waited to see Dr. Guthrie for about six months after my neurologist recommended her to me. I saw her nurse practitioner before hand and went through months of bloodwork, ultrasounds, and MRIs. I have been unable to physically work due to periods of loss of vision and severe pain from alert neurological condition I suffer from along with thyroid eye disease. Dr. Guthrie was just simply not interested in me as a patient. And during our virtual visit, she hung up upon me Asking about my iron, that was extremely low, and that I was told by her nurse practitioner to start taking iron, for I have never felt so abused by a doctor in my life. She should be thoroughly reviewed, I am reporting her to the attorney, general and Allegheny Health net work. she will not care about your health or treatment.

In less than a day Dr. Guthrie got my lab test ordered on site and quickly identified a very concerning thyroid issue. Got meds the SAME day. Very relieved and happy with the rapid action.

I came to Dr. Guthrie on a recommendation and I will honestly say - she has changed the trajectory of my life. Her genuine interest and concern for my health questions/issues became very evident within the first 10 minutes of my appointment. She has a phenomenal bed side manner that is not judgmental nor presumptive. I was looking for a doctor who would come beside me in my care and I found that in Dr. Guthrie. Thank you for demonstrating that being a doctor is truly a calling for some and just a job for others.

I saw Dr. Guthrie in 2012 when I was looking for a PCP. She was very nice at first, taking the time to ask many questions and get to know me. I was very honest during her questions as I thought you should be during a visit to your doctor. One answer I provided changed her whole attitude toward me and suddenly it was like I wasn’t talking to the same person anymore. If I can’t be honest with my doctor I’m wasting my time. She left me feeling bad about myself and judged rather than cared for.

Never has a Dr. taken 1 1/2 hours to get to know about me and my medical history. I wanted to hug her after my appointment because I felt like I met the right Dr. for me!

Dr. Guthrie has moved to allegheny health network in the stone quarry Plaza off camp Horne road. I was so sad when she left the cranberry office because she is truly one of the most compassionate doctors I've ever met. She takes the time to listen to you and treats you like a person. If you are looking for a good pcp this is the best doctor you could choose.

Dr Guthrie was by far the best doctor I have ever been to. Anyone with any information on where she went, please let me know! Been trying to find her for months! Her old office will not say a word and seem rude when asked about her. Any help would be very appreciated.

I love this doctor. She is no longer and internist. I have been seeing this doctor for 10 1/2 years. She is truly a caring doctor with a heart of gold. She always listens, gives you as much time as you need, explains any conditions thouroughly. She is always looking put for you. She truly is an amazing doctor and I would be lost without her. Her staff is also incredible making your whole experience truly a blessing

Dr. Guthrie is by far the best doctor I have ever had. She is sweet and listens without talking of you. She is gentle and wants only what is best for your health. She goes out of her way to be a great doctor.

The best thing I ever did for my health was walk into Dr. Guthrie's office for the first time . I had spent many years ignoring the state of my health and it had caught up to me. I went into her office with a cynical view of the medical profession and came out transformed. Her demeanor, and her obvious genuine concern for the state of my health, combined with gentle persuasion to get me on the right path health wise, changed everything about how I approached my health. Not only did she treat and diagnose my health issues with great medical skill, she single handedly altered the path I was on. She was a total game changer for me and I'll be forever grateful. She is an absolute credit to her profession. Anyone in the North Hills of Pittsburgh looking for a family doctor, this is the person to see.
