I love going to this gentle and friendly dental office!

Positives: --Very skilled dentist. Does great work. --Very gentle. --One the most painless dentists I've ever gone to. --Good chair-side manner. --Delightful, cheerful, helpful staff. --Individual rooms for patients, not a big "bay" like some dentists. This means more privacy for patients, which is nice. --Rarely have to wait long for her at all. I've gone there for years, and her office is almost always running on time, regardless of time of day or the day of the week. --If you have an emergency, the office really works with you to get you in. --Her office partner, Dr. Tokuyama, is also very good. I once had an emergency on a weekend when Dr. Tokuyama was on-call instead of Dr. Hansen. I was equally pleased with Dr. Tokuyama. --I believe Dr. Hansen gives a small discount to senior citizens, and I think she defines senior citizen as age 65+. But I'm not completely sure about all this, so you would need to ask her office beforehand. Disappointments: --It can be… very difficult to get a routine appointment, such as for a cleaning or routine exam. But I think that's because she's so good and hence popular with patients. --To the best of my knowledge, she is only a member of one dental plan, Delta Dental. And I don't believe she is a "preferred" provider for Delta. . So even if you have Delta Dental insurance, you will not have their highest level of coverage with her. I personally think she is worth the extra money...if you can afford it. --I've comparison shopped a bit, and her prices seem to be at the upper end for dentists in the area. Again, she's worth it if you can afford it. But if your budget is tight, her prices might be painful, especially if you do not have insurance. --Like a number of dentists these days, she does not see patients on Fridays. Overall: Simply based on her skill, gentleness, and quality of work, I'd give her 4 stars because of her higher prices and the challenges of getting appointments.
