I started my journey with Dr. Heuer 1 year ago this week right before Thanksgiving. I was conflicted as to whether to start at that time or wait to do the New Year's resolution. Dr. Heuer gave me tools to lose weight despite all the constant festivities around food. I am forever grateful for her guidance, support, knowledge, and non-judgmental approach to helping me lose 50 lbs and keep it off. The holidays and parties are no longer an issue for me. I started working with Dr. Heuer last spring and I have to say this is the ONLY program that has ever worked. for me. I have already achieved all of my weight loss and health goals. She is so caring, patient, and understanding. My dilemma began 40 years ago while gaining weight at various rates until I hit 300 lbs summer of 2020. I felt horribly depressed and fatigued all the time and knew I needed to do something to reverse this and get back to my best health. In 2020 I was also diagnosed with cancer and that was the proverbial kick in the backside I needed to begin my journey. After seeing a colleague and then my daughter collectively lose over 200 pounds in a relatively short period of time I asked them what the secret was and given Dr Heuer's phone number and scheduled an appointment. Dr Heuer guided and advised me on what I was doing wrong and gave me a world of knowledge on how to properly eat and what not to eat. My bloodwork showed I was headed for fatty liver and diabetes. After five months working with Dr. Heuer and a follow up with my primary Dr my weight loss was over 60 lbs and I am completely healthy!!!!!! Currently my weight is now 218 lbs after losing over 82 lbs. I could not have done this… without Rockland Medical weight loss and Dr Heuer. It was done by changing my attitude and educating me on what I was doing wrong in my diet. This all was done without surgery, medicines, or anything radical. The esteemed Dr is a credit to her field and I highly recommend her and her wonderful staff! One last thing I would like to add is that people I have not seen in a while due to COVID are blown away by my metamorphosis and can't believe the change.Don't show doubt, check the Dr Out!

I am writing this review because this is the first time I have ever felt comfortable in a bathing suit in my entire life. When I started to gain additional weight during COVID I reached out to Dr. Heuer. I had been following her posts on Facebook after my friend had tremendous success with her years ago.
