Dr. Lisa Ann Medalie, PhD

Dr. Medalie was an excellent sleep doctor. Not only did I learn a lot about the root of my sleep issues, but I also was glad to have a non-medication option that provided help.

I don’t know that waiting at a doctor’s office is a reason for giving such an intense review. This doctor is an incredible bright, sensitive and dedicated provider. Please ignore this person’s 1-star rating for waiting at a doctors office.

By far the worst experience I’ve ever had with a doctor. After 5 sessions for sleep therapy, all of which she was wildly late to start, I asked what I could do to prevent the long waits. After a lecture of the number of patients she sees per day and a “that’s just how it is” ending, she terminated my treatment as not to waste any more time. I was caught off guard and felt completely abandoned. I’ve had multiple apologies from the University of Chicago since the incident, but unfortunately, damage done with regards to my treatment. I would never recommend starting a treatment with Dr. Medalie.
