Dr. Lisa Alice Mills, MD

Dr. Mills has taken care of my for nearly 10 years. I could not imagine trusting anyone else with my condition. She is beyond excellent.

Dr. Mills is kind, compassionate and easy going. She listens when I speak and takes my concerns to heart. She answers all questions and never makes me feel like I am being rushed out of her office. She handled my care beautifully and I would recommend her to anyone in need of oncology treatment. She is knowledgeable in all the latest treatments and medications and explains the advantages and side effects of each. She is everything one would want or expect from their doctor. I give her an A+.

A superior physician. My mother has seen Dr. Mills for several years. She has always offered a fantastic level of clear-headed carefully-focused and compassionate treatment. She ranks as one of the better doctors I have ever had experience with. I cannot rate her too highly. She is gentle, caring, intelligent.

I have been seeing Dr. Mills for a little over one year. She is highly professional, but warm with a great sense of humor. She is clearly knowledgable and up-to-date in her field. One wonderful aspect is that she LISTENS to me - she treats me as a person, not merely "the colon-liver cancer patient". I have the utmost confidence in Dr. Mills and the wonderful, caring nurses in the chemo unit. Having cancer, well, sucks, but Dr. Mills and the staff make it a whole lot more bearable.

Our family has had nothing short of good experiences bringing our dad to Dr. Mills. She is very attentive to details and thorough with her examinations. Great bedside manner. Easy to talk to. Always available for questions. Hardly any wait time for appointments. Her staff is very professional and courteous. I would highly recommend Dr. Mills.

I went to her because my bloodwork was not correct (low red blood cells/hemoglobin and high white blood cells and platelets). She did a painful, incomplete bone marrow biopsy at my first exam and did not tell me the side effects until after I was unable to walk. Then she felt something so I had a cat scan and she talked to the radiologist and told me I had ovarian cancer without looking at the scan herself. Next, she ordered ovarian cancer tumor marker blood work and was confused when it came back negative. She then sent me to another doctor to see what he wanted to do to treat me. Fortunately I did not have cancer and I never went back to her. She was unable to give me a correct diagnosis and passed me to someone else becasue she was incompetent. I would not recommend her to anyone
