Unless you are rich and can pay your bill in full at the time of your appointment, AVOID this place like the plague or be prepared to be belittled and receive false threats of small claims court. I am not a patient there but my fiance is. The office manager Oli is beyond rude and unprofessional when handling billing matters. My fiance fell behind on his owed balance and the office never made contact with him via cellphone or email until they sent a letter making false threats of taking him to small claims court to scare him into paying his almost $700 balance in full in ONE week. When he called the office to set up a payment plan they DENIED him one and said he waited too long and maybe his parents could loan him the money. Then in an email Oli told him to put his balance on a credit card and make a payment plan that way. As IF having a credit card to make the full payment was an option. The rudeness and lack of tactfulness in this office is beyond me.… They also violated HIPPA rules by taking a picture of the letter they sent him the mail with all of his personal info on a cellphone (most likely Oli's?) and attached it as an image and sent it to email they had on file. 1. If you had his email on file this whole time, why was not one single attempt made to contact him about his balance made? 2. Sending patient info in an attached image that you had no way of verifying was his actual email address is against HIPPA.(When this was brought to Oli's attention by my fiance's mother who is an office manager, Oli ignored it and then an hour later his mother received a response stating that she had been signed up through a third party firm for HIPPA training. Coincidence? i dont think so. It was passive aggressive and quite childish coming from a grown adult who holds the title of manager) 3. If you blatantly denied him a payment plan (which you did via email and over the phone), then why did Oli accept his $50 payment towards his bill and then turn around stating she could not agree to a payment plan anymore. If you weren't allowing a payment plan, then you shouldn't have accept the $50 payment. We understand there is debt owed and there was an effort made to begin a payment plan once the letter was received, but the lack of customer service and out right rudeness that came from a so called "office manager" should be taken into account and dealt with.
