Dr. Lisa J Parsons, DO

When Dr. Parsons worked for Mercy in the early 2000's I was lucky enough to have her as my gyn. Her compassion during some trying and painful times was insurmountable. To this day I still tell everyone how great she is, not only as a doctor but as a surgeron and I commend her on her professionalism and her desire to actually help her patients no matter how big or small the issue was, it never went unnoticed by me. What Dr. Parsons possesses as a provider definitely are qualities we unfortunately don't find in many medical professionals any longer. She is one of the best and I (obviously) highly recommend her for your medical needs. I was so terribly saddened the day I heard she was leaving the local practice in South Portland/Portland.

Lisa Parsons is no longer practicing at All About Women but when she was still there working she was a wonderful physician!! She treated you as a whole person and helped you understand many things about being a woman and your body/mind connection. I wish you well Dr. Parsons where ever you are now and whatever you end up doing!! My family will always remember the major difference you made in our lives!!

Dr Parsons is a very skilled physician. Probably one of the best in the Portland Maine area along with several of her other staff members. She has always had a compassionate, empathetic, and professional caring way about her whenever I have seen her with any patients even as I walked down the hallway to an exam room. It can be frustrating trying to get an appointment because she is so good and busy. Still when you get to see her you know you are her patient and she takes time to answer all questions and concerns. She explained things to me when it was needed in more detail then even a specialist I had seen. Personally I will always remember her in our lives because she was honest and gave information for medical issues that made a life difference. Many thanks to Dr Lisa Parsons!

Dr Parsons has been my ob gyn doctor for 5 years now. She has seen me through the good, the bad and the ugly of being a woman! Dr Parsons helped our family welcome our third child 3 years ago. The pregnancy was complicated and there weer a lot of risks throughout the pregnancy. Dr Parsons performed my c-section and provided the best care for me throughout the process (emotionally and physically). In the past couple of years, Dr Parsons has been treating me for vaginal and reproducive difficulties, which have led to the ultimate decision that it is time for a hysterectomy. I cannot not express my sincere thanks and appreciation for Dr Parsons. She is professional, knowledgable and most importantly....CARING!!!! She treats a woman in a "wholesome" manner. She is as concerned about a woman's mental wellness as she is their physical wellness.I would recommend Lisa Parsons to everyone!!

Dr. Parsons is a totally amazing doctor! She delivered my first child, and I am hoping she will deliver then next one when the time comes. She is the most attentive, level headed, genuinely kind and caring doctor I have ever come in contact with. She truly is an all around wonderful person, she is always cheerful and in good spirits, even when she is called into the hospital to deliver your baby in the middle of the night! Best doctor ever, for sure!

Dr Parsons and everyone else at All About Women are fabulous! They made me feel really comfortable at all times, and after having several less than ideal OB/GYN's in the past, it was a relief to find them. I have recommended this practice to other friends as well!

Lisa is WONDERFUL! Not only is she well educated, she is caring and compassionate. I feel honored and blessed to have Lisa deliver my son. I couldn't have imagined a better birthing experience.
