Summary
I have lived in California most of my life. I decided to pursue a career in medicine because I was inspired by my father, who was a physician. Pain management especially interested me after I helped care for cancer patients with intractable pain during medical school rotations. I was further inspired by a wonderful family friend who practices pain management. I completed an interventional pain fellowship so that I could further develop my skills in this area.
