Dr. Lisa Marie Rossi, MD

I read these reviews often and I’ve never left one. This is woman has a toxic personality. I’m sure anybody who’s spent thirty seconds with her would know that. She’s hostile, full of misinformation, clearly knows very little about her patients, and will discount anything a patient might say because she believes she knows more about her patient’s life (often based on her own snide viewpoint ( often based on her misinformation.) She is the most arrogant person I’ve ever met and in empathize with anybody that has the misfortune of dealing with her. If you have the option, don’t come within one hundred feet of this toxic person.

called 3 x over a 3 week period to schedule a follow up endoscopy. Never returned my phone calls.

From the initial contact, Dr. Rossi, the other doctors, and the entire staff have been top notch in every way - professional, courteous, compassionate.... They all took the time to explain every step of the procedures, and they asked questions to ensure I was comfortable and fully informed. I received a follow up call from the staff to check on me the next day. Dr. Rossi also called me after reviewing test results, and was very thorough in her explanation of the diagnoses, treatments, and what might be expected in the future.

Dr Rossi herself, is very upbeat, attentive. Errs on the conservative side. I have continuing issue, think could be more aggressive. The staff at CT Gastro is my reason for the not so great rating. No one EVER answers the phone when you first call. Have to wait a long time for a reply. Perhaps they are too busy and could use a little more help? Dr Rossi's assistant is helpful, when you can reach her.The procedure scheduler is helpful, but again takes forever to make actual contact. Person in billing was actually rude. Biggest issue is follow up on blood test results that the doctor orders. If they are set for a few months after I have been in to the office, per her instructions as follow up, I never receive a call with the results , so I have to try to contact them. They never seem to be able to find that they have received them from the lab, and I have to explain the reason I had the test, that again the doctor ordered. So this process takes a few calls, leaving message, waiting for… return call, which generally comes at a time when I can't answer my phone, so have to call back and leave another message. It makes me not even want to initiate the follow up on the lab tests, cause I know it's going to be a few days of telephone tag.

I have not completed my tests with Dr. Rossi so I can't finish my experience with her. So far I have good experience with her and the staff.

I have had both an endoscope & colonoscopy with Dr. Rossi. Dr. Rossi and all her assistants were all very exceptional and made the whole experience one of ease. They made me feel that I was in very capable hands by explaining the whole procedure process. Before I knew it I was awake and back in the recovery unit where the staff there was also exceptional. I have recommended Dr. Rossi to friends and will continue to do so.

I was rescheduled a few times after much frustration. I was finally scheduled with Dr. Rossi the day of surgery so I didn't get to meet hger until I was ready to go in for my procedure. She was very nice! Seemed to do a fine job and came to see me when I woke up as well. I plan to return to her. Highly recommend

The office staff may take up to 24 hours to get back to you for an appointment. If you call and leave a message with them they will say they never got it, the phone's do not work right. There always seems to be a problem with the phone system.If you need a prescription, it may take you up to two weeks for the staff to get it to the doctor to approve, only if the phones are working properly, which they never are, that is what the staff says.
