Dr. Lisa Adrienne Rutstein, MD

I cannot imagine another Surgeon being as compassionate and attentive as Dr. Rutstein was with me. She took her time with me at every visit and made herself available to me at all times. She is knowledgeable and truly cares about her patients. I feel fortunate to have had her as my surgeon.

Dr. Rutstein is an excellent doctor and surgeon. She explained what to expect prior to my surgery in detail. She answered any questions I had before the operation. She even contacted me by phone a day or two before the surgery to make sure I was doing ok and to answer any last minute questions that I might have. The surgery went very well. I was very lucky to have Dr. Rutstein perform the surgery. She also has a very knowledgeable and caring staff.

My dad had a whipple 8 years ago at 86 and now at 94 still going with no issues . We thank you His name is Leonard LeBlanc

My father had liver cancer surgery in Boston because of an oncologist recommendation. I wish he had seen Dr. Rutstein and had her perform his surgery. His care in Boston was not the problem, only the complications after the surgery and my parents not wanting to go back to Boston. Unfortunately he has had several months of problems and doctors not knowing how to treat him. We were finally able to get him well enough for a visit with Dr. Rutstein and we were very appreciative of her time and ability to explain what and why this all happened. She was great and so was her staff.

She lied about everything that would happen during me treatment for cancer. I was not prepared for what I went thru because of the lies. She is not trustworthy or very caring for her patients. I will not return to her or recommend her to anyone ever.

Evasive, blames her faults on staff, makes excuses, not apologies. Poor rapport with families.

Highly professional yet compassionate. She listens. She answered all our questions. Her staff seems very well-trained and knowledgable. We feel extremely confident in her ability.

Horrible bedside manner. A bulldozer.
