Great doctor. Easy to talk to. She is an excellent diagnostician

This doctor supplements her income by calling other doctors that have requested authorization to give medications or procedures. She is paid by the insurance industry to make determinations. She was highly unprofessional, actually screamed at me (I am a physician that she called to discuss the case), and ultimately hung up on me when I asked about her credentials. One STAR is the lowest rating that this web site permits.

I never rate people but I feel compelled to do so here. She calls me and is very rude on the phone and denies a simple 50 dollar inversion table on a patient who has had 3 back surgeries and is in chronic pain. They say those who can’t do it ( meaning practice good medicine ) do utilization review which is to deny patients treatment.

Dr. Sandusky will deny any request for any treatment. She has very little knowledge of pharmacology and does not really know what she is talking about. Just a hired gun for the utilization review companies.

Dr. Sandusky has denied every treatment request made, she appears to hate patients and has little respect for her colleagues, she should be removed from the process of utilization reviews
