Dr. Lisa Marie Scheib, MD

A pill pusher..and an ignorant one at that. Looking for a fix for my insomnia, she prescribed 3 benzodiazepines...one after the other. ....when 3 days of one would have broken the cycle (I have since discovered) I am now in my 16h month of withdrawal with debilitating physical symptoms that have hijacked my life with no end in sight. If I had at least gotten a "Whoops!" I could have felt a little forgiveness, but I got nothing but denial. Be prepared to be the one at fault if her doctoring doesn't work.

I have had Dr. Lisa for many years. My children urged me to see another doctor but I had been with her for so long, I procrastinated. She misdiagnosed me on many health conditions and just this morning told me I needed to go to the hospital because she had no time to see me because I was just under 10 minutes late. I explained I was so sorry but I was really sick and it took all I could to get there. Her staff said I'd need to reschedule for a different day :( and I left in full blown tears. I pray no one is ever turned away like I have been. No one in that office cared!

I have been going to Dr. Scheib for years and I am very happy with the service I have received. She listens to what you have to say, performs an examination, and then has a discussion with you on how to treat the situation. She always presents me with alternatives, including doing nothing at all, and involves me on the final decision. She is very professional without being stuffy and condescending. If you are the type of person who takes responsibility for you health and wants to work with a doctor to improve it, then Dr. Scheib is a good doctor for you.

I was bombarded with illness after illness and My primary care doctor at the time told me I was a complicated case and was stone walled, I bumped into Dr. Scheib, told her my situation even though she was not seeing new patients she took me on and stuck by me, and is a great support to me, telling me don't ever give up. she is an absolute godsend.as complicated as my condition is.she hasn't kicked me to the curb like th others have.I truly commend her for holding true to the oath she took to save lives, rather to give in to the powers that be. she has always treated me with the highest respect, having had a drug and alcohol past, I now have found recovery. when I walk thru her office she views me as a patient wanting only to get well, not a DRUG ADDICT looking for a fix. I highly reccommend her to anyone who doesn't want to get jerked around by DR. Tunnel Vision who can't see past the phrase ( History of PAST drug and alcohol use.)even though you repeatedly consented to testing..(… every day)she's a true human being.

I had a very bad experience with this doctor. I was very sick, was diagnosed with viral bronchitis. When I didn't get better, I was put on antibiotics - Augmentin. Still didn't get better. Went for chest x-ray, which confirmed pneumonia. Continued to feel worse, called office every day only to be told that I was already on antibiotics and all I needed to do was rest and wait it out. I was so sick I finally went to emergency room and ended up in hospital for 3 days. Later I was told by another doctor that augmentin is prescribed for infections from the neck up - so I was prescribed a medication that was never going to treat pneumonia! She was a nice enough person, but I lost all faith in her after that.
