Dr. Lisa Pearl Schlar, MD

Went in because I have some really weird symptoms, that think have to do with aleregirs or some other autoimmune disorder. Asked for blood work, and suggestions on what we can do to help me figure out what is going on. Told her in the past I had been prescribed mild muscle relaxors for the muscle cramps that happen as symptoms. She told me to go to a natural path, that she wasn't good at handling this kind of thing. She asked me if money was a concern, and gave me a weird once over. To pre date this past few m9nths have been hard, son was sick with some stomach issues, he spent about a week in the hospital and I quit my job to help take care of him. Then Dr. Schlar accused me of looking for drugs and that she as a doctor treated the whole problem,not the symptoms. I still find this really confusing, because she basically told me she wouldn't treat me, and to go to a natural path. I left feeling really embarressed, because I wasn't looking for drugs, I was looking for help for on on… going condition that has at times been debillatating, and after spendimg the summer taking care of a kid with a stomach problem, i was finally trying to take care of me. I'm not changing her as my dr right away, because how it works at her office is she oversees students, and the student dr I got that is studying under her is amazing, and took time to appologize to me. But I will be changing primary care Dr. as soon as her student is gone. I have no faith in Dr Schlar knowing what she is talking about.

Dr. Schlar was excellent as my ob and my 31/2 months premature son's physician. I had serious preclampsia and Lisa was outstanding. She talked me through everything.

She is unreasonable & extremely, condescending!!
