Dr. Lisa Michelle Sloat, MD

Wasn't a particularly pleasant interaction, and my concerns felt shrugged off. The entire appointment felt completely scripted and rushed.

I don’t even know how she is still practicing, unavailable doctor, I felt like I’m dealing with a used car dealer. She should be weeded out of the system!

Interesting how two of her reviews are 1 star and the rest 5 star.. I wonder if she did these herself. I almost died due to the care I received from her.

I rarely write reviews, but I felt a need to write this one. I only hope that this review helps someone else in need receive the care and attention that I receive from Dr. Sloat. After only a few sessions with her, I feel so much better. I feel like she really knows me and she has helped me so much during this difficult stage in my life.

I have only recently begun to see Dr. Sloat. My therapist recommended her when I was very unhappy with my previous psychiatrist. I have only seen her a few times, but so far she has been very caring and thoughtful. She also appears to be very knowledgeable.

You can tell that Dr. Sloat really cares about her patients. She is always available for any questions or concerns and always responds to messages or emails promptly. She even rearranged her schedule on one occasion to squeeze me in. I am so thankful that I found her.

I have seen Dr. Sloat for the last month after going through a very difficult period and feeling shuffled around by several other doctors. I don't know about the people who left the bad reviews - I have had a fantastic experience with Dr. Sloat. She could tell that I was in crisis and got me in very quickly. She was caring and seems really smart. It is going to take a lot of work with her, but I'm confident for the first time in a long time that I'm on the right track and will get my life back! Thanks Dr. S!!

I must admit that I am one of those people who usually only write reviews when I am very disappointed with a product or service. However, I felt compelled to write a review when I saw the negative reviews that had been written about Dr. Sloat. Unfortunately, I have seen my fare share of psychiatrists and can honestly say that Dr. Sloat has been the most caring, knowledgeable, and understanding psychiatrist that I have ever seen. She is the only psychiatrist to correctly diagnose my problem and treat it correctly out of many!

I cannot thank Dr. Sloat enough. She has been a God-send; she diagnosed my problem and got me on the right medication when other doctors did not. I have recommended her to a friend who also has received great care. Thank you Dr. Sloat!!!!

How on earth this woman has been practicing "medicine" for as long as she has is beyond me. Any Psychiatrist is better than this incredibly rude individual.
