Dr. Lisa Suzette Sundberg, MD

Dr. Sundberg was the rudest doctor I have ever spoken to. She was impatient with my questions and wrote notes in my medical record that were insulting and untrue. She said that I insisted on a specific treatment when I was only asking about it, and arrogantly wrote that I googled and asked family members instead of believing her. What patient doesn't do these things before making an appointment? Sorry, I don't have a medical degree but that doesn't mean I’m clueless without her.

Didnt show up for my first appt. Some male dr kept asking to give me a pap smear. I was not there for a pap. She didn't look at my MRI and told this HAS to be cancer and you need surgery immediately! She scheduled a bladder test, which was unnecessary. Luckily i went back to where i had my MRI. I did not have cancer, i did not have a hysterectomy and i had a second MRI and i don't have cancer. You shouldn't throw that around without proof. She didnt suggest a biopsy, nothing. Always check with someone NOT associated with the person in question and get a 2nd opinion. I left her office with my mother tearing up and i was so shaken it took me a day to think clearly.

I am absolutely appalled at the way I was treated by Dr. Sundberg. I had another doctor who I see email Dr. Sundberg re: me and provided Dr. Sundberg recent research studies. I set a telephone appointment with Dr. Sundberg to discuss my options. She called me 30 minutes late and then blatantly lied to me about my doctor's email to her. She then told me a lie about the WHI study re: hormone replacement therapy which I again caught her in and instead recommended an anti-depressant to treat menopause symptoms. She also suggested an "insomnia workshop" to help with my sleep issues even though I told her I avoid caffeine, work out regularly, meditate, and so on. I did not find her receptive at all.

She's been my dr for almost 3 years now. I would stay with her but I cannot take anymore how I will wait for 30 min and she will spend now even 2 min talking to me. She will come in but as soon as I started talking, she can't wait to hold the door knob ready to leave. It is like having a dr in a drive thru clinic. Wow, I am giving the health care business an idea. It is really disappointing to not having a quality service I think it's all about numbers now.

Please do yourself a favor and find a different OB/GYN. She doesn't listen to your concerns or needs. She was my Dr for my second baby and I had incredible amount of ligament pain to the point where I couldn't stand up (and I love to exercise so this was tough) She tells me it's just part of the gig and sorry! She never suggested anything to help with the pain until I did some research and bought a support belt which HELP wonders. I mentioned it to her on my next visit and she's just like, oh that's a good idea... YA NO JOKE, maybe you could be a little more sympathetic and suggested that to me months ago when I was telling the pain then! I recently had a phone apt with her which she was 40 minutes late to (always late to her apts, SO disrespectful)! Then on top of that the problems I have been having is thyroid related (abnormal periods) and I had asked if I could get labs done to see if everything was normal and she tells me that my thyroids are normal and they were just checked 5… months ago... I have Hashimotos and how does she know that my thyroids would be normal? If she had looked at her charts, my thyroids were normal when I gave birth to my child, but 4 months later they went abnormal, so if she really knows her industry, she would just let me get labs done just to make sure. I even asked if i could just get it done just for reassurance and she said there's no reason! She doesn't care or listen to you when you are in pain or in need of help. Girl BYE!!!!!

I saw Dr Sundberg during both my pregnancies and she delivered both my kids.She is very polite,answers any questions you may have without rushing you. I really like her! And I never waited more than 10 min (15 max) to be seen.

This was the worst treatment I've ever had in a physicians office. She ordered a mamogram and then I got a call from the office to schedule my specialist consultation for surgery for the problem they found. This was the first I'd heard there was a problem! The dr never called me to notify me what was found and what the next steps would be. Then I went to the specialist but the office never sent over my results and Dr Sundberg never called to follow up.

If you are expecting and plan to deliver with Dr. Sundberg then now is the time to consider a new obgyn. She has an agenda that includes ptocin from the beginning. She is obviously not natual birth friendly. Her ability to communicate with the patient and tell the patient what she is doing and what is happening in zero. She is the worst dr. that I've ever been near. I probably would have been better off for a nurse to deliver my baby instead of Dr. Sundberg. She was so awful I even thought about leaving the hospital. She was rude and made devistating comments about my health. There are so many good doctors out there who will take the time to be gentle and polite to their patients. Pick someone else
