Dr. Lisa Harrison Toffey, MD

Very dismissive and not knowledgeable. If you are looking for someone to prescribe the right antibiotic for strep, she's fine. If you have anything more complicated, don't bother. I've switched primary care doctors and since done so much better.

We have been lucky to be patients of Dr. Toffey since 2001. She cared for my Mother, my Husband, my daughter and me. She knows us so well that we travel over an hour to see her since we have moved out of Summit. The other physicians in her practice are knowledgeable and wonderful! We highly recommend this practice.

I’m 42, obese, family history of heart disease, father died of heart attack at 54, sister had breast cancer at 18 and died at 28 of ovarian cancer. Dr. Toffey found it most important to refer me to a metabolic specialist to get on “weight loss pills”. I told her I was currently working on gettin healthier and lost 20lb in my own, but she did not care about my work our routine or eating patterns she said I should take the diet pills from her good friend who does great work. I had no breast exam done, no EKG, no HA1C ordered. I had basic labs drawn and she gave me a prescription for thyroid medicine for 1 year without follow up for my TSH ir Free T4. This place is unsafe. Staff is condescending and billed everything incorrectly, when I called to speak to someone I was yelled at like a child and I’m currently trying to resolve the issue with the balance of a wellness visit claim that was never processed correctly.

I complained for over a year about terrible back pain. A simple X-ray would have showed the cancer in my back. The delay cost me tremendously in treatment.

I recommend Dr. Toffey to everyone. She is the only doctor I have ever found who truly cares about me and my well being. I am NOT just another "patient folder" to her, she treats me with respect and concern and I trust her!

I switched to Dr. Toffee after shopping for a physician with good customer service and I found her. Her office staff is great. She is easy to talk to and accessible. She explains things easily and clearly. I'm really glad I switched.

Disappointing experience. Office staff was arrogant and insensitive; they showed a DMV mentality when I was anxious to get back important test results before a holiday break. Her staff represents her poorly with new patients.Wait to see the doctor was 30-45 minutes, and when I saw her, she seemed distracted (kept looking at her watch), and made me feel rushed.Her medical recommendations based on test results seemed reasonable, but the specialists she referred me to were based on convenience rather than their expertise (i.e., "he's right down the hall").After my experience, I would never recommend this physician, and certainly not her staff.
