Dr. Lisa Ann Weidner, MD

I met Lisa, not through any kind of medical appointment, but I had cleaned her house multiple times. I found her to be very cold and distant. Actually matches the other comments.

My PCP suggested that I see Dr. Weidner at AGH for an evaluation. I've had four spine fusions including hardware implants. She was unprofessional and mean. Only after I told her that I wanted to lessen the meds that I was taking did she lighten up. But by then, it was too late. Dr. Weidner is unprofessional and un-ethical. My PCP actually apologized for referring me to her.

Insisted on asking private questions regarding my children which did not have anything to do with my care. Then stated that she can ask whatever she wants and I am required to answer. I immediately told her I was stopping my care with her. She then sent a letter stating I broke my contract by asking my PCP for a prescription. My PCP saw this and wrote numerous letters stating this to be untrue. I am a medical provider myself and she acted very unprofessionally with me on a number of occasions. The last was just the final blow.

So condescending. Non existent bedside manner. Smells like bologna.

I went to her for awhile for chronic low back pain. I had a few epidurals with minimal results. I am overweight and as usual most doctors blame any ailment on being overweight. Dr. Weidner suggested that I seek counseling on why I like to eat. This women should seek counseling for her germaphob issues. She puts a latex glove over her stethoscope to listen to a patient's heartbeat.

No physician has the right to scream at a patient who has done nothing wrong. She tore into me when she found that I had filled a pain med script LATE... Not early. It was filled three days late because the pharmacy was out of the medication. After allowing her to scream for about five minutes, I told her what happened and suggested she call the pharmacy to verify. She changed the subject. Then, when she found out that I really wanted to reduce my pain meds, she wanted to become friends. I'm sorry, it's too late.

As in most of the other comments listed she doesn't listen to you at all, if she makes a statement that is wrong and you correct her " it's actually your fault," the department itself was dirty, the staff was rude, and even though I have documented AVN with a recalled hip and the other is fractured she did a steroid injection in them. I do agree once you start going to a pain clinic you are stereotyped and the doctors should be able to know who is actually in need of help and who are just seekers, but I'm surprised this doctor even knows how to open a door.

I will not call Lisa Weidner a doctor I found her too be insulting ,degrading and all out rude she should not be practicing medicine let alone pain management been a patient at the clinic four over 10 years what a pleasure it was too meet DR. Michael Patterson I hope for the best for the patient's at Allegheny General Hospital Pain Medicine where she has been assigned the attending Physician Position.

Worst doctor I ever met in my entire life. Does not listen to you she is the most unprofessional doctor I have ever been to. she does not care how you feel, she tells you how you feel,and that is it. She is also cocky and arrogant. I am not being a smart alec I am just being truthful....
