Dr. Lisa Marie Wirfel, MD

I would not recommend Dr. Wirfel as she was very unprofessional and degrading with my elderly grandparent, and got in their face with a yelling tone. She got frustrated with their lack of hearing and ended up abruptly walking out of the room and did not return.

I had many years of frustration dealing with doctors who "wrote me off" because I have a history of depression and anxiety. People with those problems can also have the same physical problems as anyone else. Most physicians don't seen to understand that. During my first appointment with Dr. Wirfel, I ask for assurance that it would not be that way with her. She assured me that it wouldn't and has lived up to her promises in every way. Her compassion and willingness to work with my limitations is priceless. Her staff is just as wonderful. Wish I could give her more than five stars.

I've been seeing Dr. Wirfel since I was 16 years old. I am now 31 years old, both of my parents see her as well. She listens, she takes her time, she gets to the bottom of the problem. She's not in and out. She actually cares and puts forth an effort.

She makes all decisions for you and if you disagree, she kicks you out of her practice. Schedules unnecessary tests without discussing them with you prior to scheduling. Scheduled a consult after I refused to have it. Made a medication error in dosage with me. Never saw her wash her hands once in 5 months of appointments. There is no caring or kindness shown by her. She will not speak to you on the phone. You are permitted to speak to a practical nurse, who relays the message to her. Of the two messages I left, one was totally misinterpreted, for which I was reprimanded by this doc, even after I told her that was not the message that I left. She said, "Well that's the message I got." in a voice that indicated that she thought I was lying. In my opinion, she is incompetent and uncaring.

Love Dr. Wirfel.....she was the only doctor that would really listen to me

My mom had several health problems, but was sound of mind and all Dr did was give her more and more pain medicine. My mom slept and slept and you could hardly talk to her at times. Sadly my mom has passed and her last months were sad I just hope she can remember the good days she had with us before she passed.

Awesome doc...love her...she actually does her job this one
