Dr. Lisa Ann Wirth, MD

Dr. Wirth listened to all I had to say and she also explained everything that was needed. I would highly recommend Dr. Wirth to anybody I care about.

It's as if the office is run like they exist in the 1980s before cellphones and email. You are not allowed to email the office. They do not do appointment reminders of any kind. The only way you can communicate with them is to call and leave a voicemail and hope someone calls you back. It is very antiquated and their policies are draconian - they aren't going to remind you about an upcoming appointment that you made six months ago but they sure as heck are going to charge you $50 for missing an appointment and they will be aggressively billing you for that $50. The doctor is nice enough but the office is run like a 90 year old is in charge of it. They need to get with the times and utilize some technology with patients.

Dr. Wirth is the best most compassionate doctor I have ever come in contact with.Honest and respectful to all her patients.I love her.

I started seeing Dr. Wirth for depression then my life turned upside down. I broke my neck I. She is compassionate caring, a great listener and even though I live with a traumatic brain injury she never makes me feel bad or less than I was before my wreck and disability. There is no better psychiatrist in Gainesville

I absolutely love Dr. Wirth! She is a peach! Listens and understands my issues without being judgmental! The staff on the other hand is awful! I have tried to give the secretary Tracie the benefit of the doubt multiple times and she is just still so very rude and makes us as patients feel like we are a burden for calling and needing a refill or having a question for Doctor Wirth. I have never met someone who is as down right rude and judgmental to their patients as her. It’s really a shame because so many of us that see her already deal with anxiety already she honestly makes it so much worse!

Dr. Wirth no longer accepts new patients because she is so overloaded with satisfied patients. Ignore the negative reviews. Those reviewers have problems.

I heard she is an excellent psychiatrist but even though her website states she is accepting new patients she never called me back. I called several times and either go no answer or the answering machine but never got a call back.

I saw Dr Wirth in 2012 after I moved to Gainesville, GA. I also worked for the hospital system in LTC as an RN. I was very upset at the way patients were being treated on my job and tried to explain my feelings about things to Dr Wirth. However she would just interrupt me saying, "That is so bad,I do not like to hear that." I soon gave up trying to talk to her because she had that reaction every time I tried to talk about concerns I had. She had more interest in writing prescriptions than talking with me so I fired her. This news must have gotten back to my PCP because soon she would not see me in person anymore. I hope to never set foot in Gainesville GA again

I have been trying to get in this office to see dr. now for over a month to no avail. And I totally blame it on the lady at front desk, Tracie who is the rudest, most unprofessional person I've ever spoken to! I am assuming she is the appointment maker but she acts as if she's the dr. It's a pity, really...b/c I'm sure the dr. loses many pts. like myself b/c of her and her alone!!! :-(
