Dr. Lisanne G Laurier, MD

Complete waste of time coming here. Was referred to Dr Laurier from my primary because the thyroid levels on my bloodwork were not good. After Dr Laurier’s office looked over my bloodwork, they made an appointment to see me since they said “we do need to see you about your thyroid.” But when I went to my appointment, I was told my thyroid levels were fine….seriously? All she did was ask me some questions, checked my knee reflexes….then when I said this appointment was pointless and that I have to now pay for it, she said “well, we will make a claim to insurance and then you will pay the difference.” If nothing was wrong with my bloodwork, why make this appointment with me? To get money from insurance? Why not go back to the primary and ask “why are they being referred here I don’t see anything wrong?” I just can’t believe there are people like this who are supposed to help others.

So what detached and have to continually remind her what was last discussed. Staff makes a patient feel like an imposition and any question is seen as an annoyance. Unprofessional staff can be quite surprisingly rude at times.

I'm so thankful for Dr Laurier. 2015 Before her help I was a miserable mess. I was a walking bag of hormones, crying spells, hot flashes, depression, sleepless, and irritable. I'm so glad she was recommended to me by a gynecologist. Dr Laurier took the time to listen, and she believed me when I told her my "off the wall symptoms" (weird smells and tastes, skin texture). After a few trials we were able to get it dialed in, and she's careful not to change anything if its working. THANK YOU DR LAURIER

I have been through a few medical professionals regarding my extreme fatigue and Dr Laurier is the only Dr that takes the time to work through issues and she keeps close eye on my progress. If things become out of balance she takes the time to really listen to my concerns and provides options and her professional guidance. She is one of the rare Dr.'s that actually take the time to listen and she really works hard to solve or relieve the issues. I highly recommend

I saw this "doctor" for three years for hypothyroidism. She increased my levo dosage virtually every time I saw her but it was mostly fine, otherwise. During my last appointment, she saw something with my free T4 that caused her to prescribe methimazole (for hyperthyroidism- I'm hypo) even though my other numbers were optimal. The new medication (because I don't have HYPERthyroidism and she'd made a mistake) caused weight gain, hair loss, anxiety, fatigue, and I was miserable...not to mention my TSH went way too high above normal range after a few weeks. She wouldn't even return my calls for two weeks after the results came back and, when I did hear from her office, it was to have her assistant say that I'd still need the hyper meds but they'd add hypo back in to balance it (What?? Clearly hypo on T3, Free T4, and TSH but they want me to take the wrong drug-- must have a deal with the pharmaceutical rep). I immediately found a new doctor and he straightened me out within 6 weeks. To… add insult to injury, I just got a call this morning about a bill from over a YEAR ago from Laurier's office, saying there's a problem with the insurance . I haven't even seen these people for 6 months. They're horrible, disorganized, unprofessional, and incompetent.

First, Dr. Lisanne Laurier is a female doctor. She is very nice and knowledgeable. She is someone I would recommend.
