I saw Dr. Nabell for a year before deciding that my first impression was not wrong. She is very brusque, almost bordering on rude, and seemed to take an attitude that I should be satisfied with her treatment because I am 64 years old. She never really took the time to listen to me or my daughter.

Outstanding doctor. Very talented in great bedside manners. Dr Nabell will be straight with you about your condition. I would recommend her to anyone.

I have been dealing with cancer for a long time and have had many Dr. over the years but she was the worst! Zero compassion, arrogance, and just rude. Please do not use this doctor if you care for your physical or emotional wellbeing. Currently looking for a new physician.

Our 2nd time of seeing Dr. Nabell. I can not get over how down to earth this Doctor is. Talking to her about my husband's cancer is like talking to a friend. She tries to not give you all doom and gloom but at the same time she stays realistic about her expectations and she has told my husband we're not giving up, if the Chemo doesn't work we'll try something else. I made several emails to Dr. Nabell with concerns after the first chemo and she tried calling me twice, messaged me and then returned my call when I called her (She makes us feel like we're her only patient and her major concern). I was amazed I heard from her and not a nurse. So far I/we have been so impressed with Dr. Nabell, the Infusion Clinic and the labs. I feel like God gave us an extra blessing when he sent us to Dr. Nabell.

We've only seen Dr. Nabell once, but we really liked her. She told us exactly what other Doctors had told us with a little compassion and hope thrown in with the reality of our situation. Dr. Nabell talked to us and never seemed in a hurry and she explained everything in a way we knew exactly what she was talking about. I would rate the whole UAB experience with 5 stars. I also liked the fact that there was a way too reach someone on the phone 24 hours a day.

Dr. Nabell was awesome. She spent so much time with me explaining my situation, statistics for factors that affect my situation and treatment options. She was so professional and provided so much information. I didn't feel any sense of hurry, get me in, get me out. I would highly recommend this doctor.
