Dr. Lissette Xiomara Lopez, MD

I'm reading the review and people are saying she pushes Big Pharma. I didn't experience that at all. She practically pushed me out the door, because I wasn't one of her regular patients. I was really sick and she told me I needed to schedule with the doctor I was paneled into. I was sitting right infront of her and was going to have to wait several days to see my own doctor. I have a Spanish surname and speak decent Spanish because I spoke it at home as a kid, but my English is better than my Spanish. She told me she is reserved for the Spanish Speakers, so I began speaking to her in Spanish. She kept speaking to me in English and kept telling me that I wasn't her patient. Her assistant was rude to me when I was coughing and acting like I was an awful person for doing that. It was a really bad experience. I hope nobody else gets treated that way.

Can't imagine what Kaiser pays Dr. Lopez that she can afford to destroy her reputation for acting as a shill for Big Pharma. She should be ashamed of herself.

I felt she was very financially focused. I wish she had more interested in the abdominal pain that caused me to miss several days of work.

From what I have read , this Doctor only wants to treat her own kind. That should tell you something about her. The favorable ones must have all been hispanic

Worst experience. Total waste of time. Her diagnosis was completely off. She did not spend enough time to understand what the problem was. She kept talking about herself. I will never go back to her.

Really great doctor. Has been taking care of my family for years and we wouldn't have it any other way. Compassionate, good listener and takes her time with all of us.

She and her assistant treated me like a total burden. I was very sick and when I arrived she lectured me that I shouldn't have made an appointment with her, because I'm not Spanish Speaking and I'm "taking away from her patients time." I did NOT make the appointment - Kaiser did. Didn't these people take an oath to help people? Very unprofessional and mean-spirited and rude.
