Dr. Livingstone Chukwuemeka Igwe, MBBS

I will never see Dr. Igwe again. I needed to see a provider right away and he happened to have any opening. If that happens again, I would rather not have my needs met and stay home than to see Dr. Igwe. I don't like when people who research their symptoms before their appointment and then tell their provider what is wrong with them, but that is what Dr. Igwe did for me. I told him what was going on and he went to UpToDate.com and read off the website word by word to me. That was it. He told me I could "just wait and see what happens and come back in a few weeks for blood tests". When I expressed concern about the "just wait and see" strategy because if I felt that was an option, I would not have come in to the clinic. He then stated there was an antibiotic option which would take care of the issue completely and not require me to return to the clinic. Why wasn't that a presented option before I had to push for it? I'm highly disappointed and can't wait for my bill to come. Next time… I'll know I can just stay home, save that money, and Google things on my own.

I felt like he had a decision on what was wrong before I was examined and didn't listen to my concerns. After some advocating for myself, he ordered the test I requested but he smirked and it make me feel like he thought I was ridiculous and he was "humoring" me by ordering the test. I also felt rushed and not heard. I told hun about an infection and he got up to leave before addressing it. By this point I was frustrated, uncomfortable, and didn't trust him to even look at it so I didn't bring it back to his attention. I am very disappointed as I will need to see another doctor if the infection doesn't clear up and may even need to visit the emergency room.

Dr. Igwe does a nice job and has a gentle approach

No bedside manor whatsoever, very impersonal, limited conversation or sharing of information. Went through the basic motions of listening to my son's lungs, checking his nose/throat, and then suggested a nasal swab. Overall, I was completely underwhelmed by him and would not return for service from this doctor.

Dr Igwe listens to every question or concern I have and explains things very well without judgement or bias.

Dr. Igwe was very professional asking questions and listening to my complaints which made me feel very cared for; his treatment for my ailments was excellent.
