Dr. Lixin Zhang, MD

Dr. Zhang really saved my life. Vestibular issues like chronic migraines, chronic vertigo and dizziness. The lamicital was given and within 2-3 weeks- no more vertigo. Less migraines. I am hopeful with vestibular therapy and continued bio-medical treatment I will improve every month.

this phony is a pill pusher, everyone he sees is diagnosed with anxiety and depression. this all being done within the first five minutes of your visit and before any testing is done. after 35 years in practice and less than two stars out of five stars on his reviews tells the truth about this fraud. there is nothing good i can say about this experience with this idiot and dent neurology institute. read all the reviews on the different websites. stay away from dent institute and this pill pusher.

this man is nothing more than a pill pusher. everyone he sees has anxiety and depression and if you disagree with him after no testing was done you are labeled difficult and will be dropped soon as a patient after he gets enough of your money. read the reviews. less than two stars out of five after 35 years in the business? he is a phony and should be and will be sued.

I have been a patient of Dr. Zhang's for treatment for Meniere's for 6.5 years now. From the moment I walked into his office he was patient, explained everything, arranged for his staff to have all my testing done the same day. He walked in and told me I had Meniere's and I cried. I finally had a diagnosis after 8 years of suffering. He works with me to ensure my medications are working properly, adjusts them as needed. His staff has always been incredibly helpful, making sure any medical records are complete and sent to any other doctor who needs them Dr. Zhang literally saved my life

If you want to be treated like a little child than Dr Zhang is for you! He kept telling me my problems was all in my mind and insited l see a psychiatrist because the EEG and MRI was negative, that is no way to talk to a paitent who has REAL pyschical problems!!

I've read several stories similar to mine about this Dr. I had a classic textbook tonic clonic seizure a few years ago & started seeing him then. He & his PA did a test or two, but told me there was nothing wrong beyond psychological issues, & my symptoms were due ONLY to anxiety & depression. Any time I questioned their anxiety theory I was instantly told I was wrong and it was "impossible" given the test results that I had had any seizure activity. They called them "spells." The PA would seem to get particularly angry if I asked a question about my "diagnosis." Finally I switched to a better doc & tests confirm not only seizures, but a stroke in there somewhere too that I am now still recovering from. He needs to strictly practice psychiatry if that's what he wants. I don't know what benefit to him it is to withhold accurate diagnosis, but don't put up with it for an instant.

I came in for herniated discs in my neck and they told me by filling out 2 questionnaires they give u,in New patient packet, a label of anxiety and depression go on everyone's medical notes. Even if you indicate they aren't a problem, like I did.This is fraud.

My daughter has multiple issues going on, including back and neck spasms from a roll over, PTSD, anxiety ( also caused by the roll over) and post concussion syndrome. We went to Dr. Zhang and he was very patient. He listened to everything we had to say, ran some tests, looked over her other medical records and made some suggestions. My daughter received injections in her neck which were painful at first, but really helped in the long run. He told us that her brain was basically on overdrive and gave her a medicine to help slow down the constant firing of pain and anxiety messages. His goal was to help her get OFF her anxiety and pain meds. She moved away, but had she stayed here we would have continued under his care. Thank you Dr. Zhang for all your help

He has changed my entire life. Turns out I WAS experiencing symptoms related to my anxiety causing my brain to become hypersensitive. After a long day of testing to make sure nothing else was wrong I started meds and ALL of my symptoms are gone for the first time in atleast six years. I have been to so many other doctors before him. Wasted so much money as time without any help. I have nothing but good things to say.

I had abdominal pain and dizziness for awhile. Everything go worse so my dr worked me up with a few specialists. Before any tests were done he told me it was all anxiety. That it can cause the gastro issues I've been having. After multiple gastro visits the last dr found an abnormality in my scans that he can't explain and is sending me to the Cleveland Clinic for another opinion. He even told me celiac disease is caused by anxiety. Now that should be a red flag. Steer clear this dr is most likely the worst I've seen.
